Not worth the money, poorly madeI've had this less than 2 years deeply regret it. This is so poorly made. The finish on the grates has worn off, the stainless housing for the knobs have spotty marks that look calcified, the rubber foot on the grate has melted off, there are gaps in the cooktop that gather dirt and are impossible to get to, the sleeve to hold a knob in place has split in half, so now I have an unusable burner unless I want to switch the knobs around all the time, and the glass on the inside of the door cracked while cooking at 425 degrees. If I could return this I would, along with the refrigerator. Next time, I'll know not to go with KitchenAid.

So far so good!I read all of the reviews before purchasing this range and still went with this range. I’m so happy we did!
Some reviews said:
-Loud fan sound after oven is turned off (ours does not have this said sound. It’s actually very quiet)
-Takes forever to preheat (the first use took a while, but to get to 425 it took 13min which IMO is fast for an oven this size!)
-Knobs can get turned if bumped against leaking gas (I’ve bumped into our several times and haven’t had this issue)
-Wifi was difficult to set up on your phone (it took me literally 5min to set up and works beautifully)
-Can’t push range against the wall due to backside design (THIS IS TRUE. Unless the plug and the gas are way low to the floor or inset into the wall you won’t be able to. Ours can’t and now we have to put a piece of stainless steel over the space between the range and the wall)
The stove top can be a booger to keep clean so I’m sure to wipe it down after every use. So far we are beyond happy with our range! Plus she’s pretty to look at!

Could be better for price- is a fire hazard.I purchased this model twice. Once in 2017 and again in 2022, in Stainless Steel. The one in 2017 had electronic lock out for cleaning. This model does not. The range comes on just by walking by it. It has started three fires in my home, and burned me twice while cleaning it. It was installed 4/6/22 and has been reported to KitchenAid and we have been ignored. This is a dangerous product and needs service for the burners are already going bad. I would avoid at all costs.

Do not buy! Faulty digital technology! Be warned!Do not buy, unless you also purchase the maximum warranty. The imbedded software malfunctions around 2years and you will have to replace the parts, otherwise the oven will not work. Expect to pay over $500. To make matters worse, when raising this with KitchenAid, they will only offer you a discount to buy another new item. Talk about sucking you into a never ending spiral.
For background, we recently remodeled our kitchen, spending close to $20k on only fitting Kitchen Aid appliances, and wow is that now turning out to be a big mistake. Not the type of quality you would expect, but now owned under Whirlpool. I will highly suggest to look elsewhere if you are passionate about good quality and reliable appliances in your Kitchen. Extremely disappointed.

Not built to last$7,000 spent in February 2019! That was only for the range. The refrigerator was purchased on the same day, another $7,000.
We have had the refrigerator repaired twice in 18 months. Then the range came up with the error code “F3E0”, that was on October 7. Tech came out to confirm that the error code was correct on October 15, parts were ordered.
I was told that 10 to 14 days.
It’s November 8th, no word, no status report.
I finally found out that the parts were on back order. Due on November 29! 3 days after thanksgiving!!!
Somebody please tell me why I spent $7,000 on a range that failed me in 18 months???
I thought I was buying a top of the line product!
Guess again.
I am so disappointed in kitchen aid.

Expected a lot more for $6k!!Looks great, but some serious issues Kitchenaid needs to resolve. When heating or cooling oven, a loud buzz is generated by fan vibrations at back of appliance. I wind up opening the door on cool down just so the fan can turn off quicker and stop the buzz. WiFi connectivity setup sucks. Aside from being difficult on first setup Just try finding directions in the manual for changing routers, like I had to do....you won’t find it. Finally, the decorative front feet are made of chincy light gauge metal. I hit them with my shoe occasionally and the sound reminds me where Kitchenaid took some shortcuts. Don’t get me wrong, it cooks very well. But, if you are looking for a user friendly smart appliance with quality construction and attention to detail, this one is not for you.

Destroyed DreamsWe've owned this stove for three years now. We've always wanted a commercial style oven and Consumer Reports rated this excellently. We scrimped and saved to make it part of the kitchen we rebuilt ourselves. Our third year in I started to notice that items were taking longer and longer to cook, we didn't realize until one month after our warranty was out that the the stove was unable to stay at temp, and was taking up to an hour to preheat to 350, then dropping to 220 before jumping again. The temperature no longer stays stable and the oven is unusable. We called and paid out of pocket for a repair. They replaced the thermostat, no fix, they replaced the relay board twice, no fix. Now they are talking about replacing the wiring harness and have been told that they don't know if that will fix it. We've been without a working oven since the week before Christmas. I took my Turkey to a neighbors to cook it. I thought that an oven this expensive would be a reliable workhorse, but now I regret paying so much.

Hard PassWe regret purchasing this KitchenAid dual fuel “commercial” range. It was installed in 2023 and has never worked properly. The turbo burners can not boil 2.5” of room temperature tap water in 10” pot in less than half hour and they flame up uncontrollably when they have been on for awhile, like when simmering soups and stews. The burner grates scratched to bare metal almost immediately upon using the appliance. The electric oven is LOUD, can not be calibrated and can’t maintain the set temperature, especially at higher temps. We are no longer a KitchenAid family. Pass on this! Soooo disappointing!

Poor Quality Oven Grates and Useless Customer ServI am extremely disappointed with the quality of my KitchenAid oven. The oven grates continually crack under normal use, which is unacceptable for a product at this price point.
What makes this worse is the customer service. Instead of offering a solution or standing behind their product, KitchenAid simply points you to replacement parts that cost $140—for one grates that are likely to crack again. No acknowledgment of a defect, no meaningful assistance.
Between the poor build quality and the complete lack of support, I will never purchase another KitchenAid product. I expected far better from a brand with this reputation.

Had less than 3 months and already have problems!I originally loved this range, but now not even 3 months in the central control board has malfunctioned. The oven turned on by itself and would not go off until we flipped the breaker. We were not home, so I'm unsure how long this stayed on unattended. Now we can't even turn it on and replacement parts are 6-10 weeks out. Very frustrating.
Like the gas range top, but find the cast iron burner grates very difficult to clean. They are heavy and cumbersome, plus scratch and lose their finish easily. My husband popped popcorn on one and the grate lost it's black finish. Unsure how to restore it or if even possible. I find they get oily and greasy easily and I have yet to find a product that easily cleans them. Also find it hard to clean the stove top the grates sit upon. The corners are hard to get debris out of and boiled over pasta water, etc. adheres strongly to it and takes a lot of elbow grease to get removed.
It is also quite quiet with it's alarms. Great if you have good ears, but hard to hear over conversation, television, kids, etc.
Loved the look of the unit, but unhappy with the expensive price and all the issues we've had in just a short time.
