Sad with broken grates from
After 3 years discovered a major flaw!I love this range BUT… the removable wok rings are not robust enough to handle the BTUs. During our first year of ownership one of our wok ring inserts cracked. Kitchenaid sent us a replacement under warranty. Now 3 years later I have one completely broken ring and two cracked rings. I called customer service to get a replacement & they ordered 2 add on wok ring that I returned. The actual replacement part is the entire square grill with the removable rings that cost $127.00 each. So Kitchenaid - please make the removable rings available to purchase without the whole square grill - or make the rings out of a better material to hold up to the heat of the burners.

2 Hours to Reach 400 DegreesI’ve had my new gas range for five weeks. It does not come to the temperature it is set to. Set at 475, it takes two hours to reach 400 degrees. I’ve asked for warranty service, and have been told by KitchenAid/Whirlpool they will repay me $150 and to find my own service tech to look at it. They also said they would pay for any parts. How generous of them! Are they going to pay for the tech to come back and install the new parts too? Who knows. I feel like I’m completely on my own here. I spent $3800 on this beautiful “looking” range, but what I really want is for it to work. This range just came on the market, so I don’t know if anyone else is having the same issue. The range is supposed to be a smart appliance, but there is no way to tell it the oven temperature is incorrect. The manual mentions a keypad, but my gas range doesn’t have the keypad. I wish I’d chosen
something else. KitchenAid, please send someone out and honor my warranty and stand by your product!

Glitchy App, Can't consistently use ovenThe range looks great, and the burners on top are nice. Easy to accidentally turn on if you bump into the knobs while walking by though. The main issue is the App and Wifi control. The front oven control won't work if the oven thinks it's in Wifi mode (which mine does, even when the knobs not on Wifi..). I've been unable to make weekend breakfast twice now because I can't get the oven to heat up, and I get "negative acknowledgement" as a message on my phone. I'm fairly computer savvy, and don't generally have trouble with the rest of the tech in my house - but this thing seems pretty bad. I've been through the troubleshooting guide way too many times now. These issues are 1 month into ownership also - imagine how difficult it's going to be to use it 10-20 years from now, I highly doubt the app will continue to work after a few years (we thought we were buying a model that had a screen also). To add insult to injury, it randomly chimes in the middle of the night. I'm spending a decent amount of time just turning off the circuit breaker to make it stay quiet.

No cooking for me from
Broken burnersIt's painful for me to provide this review, as I do really love my range. But, two years after purchasing, one of the front cast iron burners has cracked, and the other front burner has completely broken in half. After spending several hours of my life on-hold and speaking with multiple customer service reps from different departments, I have still not spoken to anyone who can resolve the issue. Poor quality, and very poor customer service. Not at all what I expect of Kitchen Aid.

Impressive RangeI bought this range about a month ago to replace a lesser KitchenAid range that broke before its time. So far, this range feels of higher quality. It has a commanding presence and many features only available on ranges costing at least $2K more. The lack of a timer and the use of the app take some getting used to, but overall this range is intuitive to use. The burners are powerful and versatile and the oven preheats much more quickly than my previous KitchenAid.

Excellent Range adding style to the KitchenThis is for the Dual Fuel model...We waited many weeks for this range and were not disappointed. It is sharp looking and definitely above the standard ranges and below other commercial ranges like the JennAir. It performs well and we like the App features. It lights well, has powerful burners, the features and feedback (lights and chimes) are intuitive and easy to understand. I would have preferred brass burners and LED back lighting for burner knobs for when the burners are on to provide better indication. The grates are excellent but you must be prepared for maintenance cleaning as is the case with all gas ranges. The burner caps are somewhat discolored/ stained already for very normal everyday use so that is a concern but I am not sure any other range is immune from this. The range is so sharp looking that we want to keep it looking new but that only works if you don't use it. We like that it extends slightly beyond the counter and like the shelf on the front. We got the stainless steel back splash as an accessory - think its a must. As with all stainless steel you must wipe with the grain! Now we are just hunting for red handle end cap medallions as a further accent.

It’s a good stoveWe bought the stove 2 years ago. I wanted to use it for awhile in order to really review it. It takes awhile to reach the temperature you need, 350etc… also it has spots on the Black finish cook top from over flow or just use where the gas burners are, very hard to get off or doesn’t come off from cleaning. It is also the same as the interior of the oven, very disappointing. Also there is no timer for cooking, you need to set up the WiFi and the timer is through that. I am 62 years old, I still believe for the cost you should have both options. The size inside the oven is average but works out for big dinners. Overall I still like the stove.

Beautiful appliance! This range is not only a beautiful addition to our kitchen but is also a pleasure to use. The oven is roomy, heats up quickly, and has a light. We're also able to use our wok and cook our meals quickly and efficiently. The only difficulty has been connecting it to WiFi even though we are IT professionals. It took a lot of phone calls and patience to get connected to the person who was finally able to help us. But most people probably don't care about this feature much. We're thrilled with our range.

It is very prettyI have had the pepper yellow 30 inch gas range for about one year. The burners work very well and I love the grate that has no dips so that sliding stuff around is easy. Baking and broiling are fine. I have had a few issues and I'm happy to be able to comment here.
No timer unless you hook it up to WiFi. This is beyond silly in a $4,500 appliance. I don't want to use my phone in the hot, crowded, possibly slippery confines of the kitchen. And wash my hands every time I have to reset the timer. I bought a cheap stand alone $14 timer from Amazon.
Sometimes, even though it is not hooked up to the WiFi and never will be, it's little brain becomes confused anyway. When this happens I go down to the basement to unplug it, wait and plug it back in. Because luckily for me in this ancient house the cord drops down a hole in the floor into the basement and the cord is accessible. If I had to throw a circuit breaker each time I would be gnashing my teeth for sure.
I do not think that the oven compartment is big enough for a turkey roaster with turkey. It seems short vertically compared to others I've had. But I am older and no longer want to lift 20 lbs up to the countertop from a stooped posture. I just cook cut up turkey pieces.
I confess that I bought it for its looks and reputation. I'm happy with it but it isn't perfect. Really no timer ?!

Poorly made and bad quality material usedI have only had this oven for two years. And the amount of trouble and nuance this oven have gave me is many. Both my iron steel grates have cracked within 6 months of purchasing the oven. The oven occasionally rusts on the outside and inside of oven. The inside of the oven is very tiny so make sure to take measurements. Inside the oven on the bottom the cover never stays put and always moves around. On top of all this I dropped one drop of warm water on the inside of the glass while I was cooking , and the oven was on and caused the glass to crack. Customer service did nothing for me to fix any of these situations. I truly believe this company uses cheap material to make their products. If they had used high tempered glass for inside of the oven , it shouldn’t have cracked. Sadly I spent over 10k on kitchen aid appliances in my new kitchen and I will never ever buy again or recommend to anyone. Stay away from poor quality made company
