Cleaned it and sarted using it right away. What a great machine as it is an upgrade from a 5qt Artisan or better, a complementing mixer! Running the two in parallel sure helps speed things up. The motor is powerful and quiet. Light loads of bread, operating per KitchenAid instructions of course, has been smoothly happening. No apparent heat issues nor motor sounding strained. Looking forward to purchasing other sized bowls and having both machines running Attachments at the same time, imagine pasta roller in one and cutter in the other! Very happy this was available for sale ! KitchenAid for the win!!!

Decided I wanted to find a DC motor model with the 7qt bowl. They should have never moved on from this motor. I kept looking everywhere and found a refurbished model right here. Came looking brand new, only issue was one of the footers was slightly off. It has been an excellent machine for everything I throw at it.
