Great product[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this good processor as a gift recently. It makes short work of keeping vegetables and fruit.

14 cup fooe processor[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about two weeks ago and so far I love it. I do wish they had a couple of other size dicing sizes and a large mouth lid other than that I can't think of anything else I would need. Thank you. I old processor just finally quit after an excess of 20 years of use. it also was a Kitchen Aid

Safety featuresI enjoy this food processor, when I can get it to finally run. We have such a hard time getting it to start. I feel we are always slamming the pieces as hard as we can. We don't know if something is wrong with the safety system? But its frustrating. When we can finally get it going, its great.

Perfect Addition[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased this processor I had high hopes that it would work towards making the creamiest homemade hummus. It met my expectations. I also used it to make my first pizza dough. Again, a great success.

Love the different features!I love the different features like the dicing kit and the adjustable slicing blade. I had an older heavy model before and my only complaint about this new one is it is very lightweight. It's great for getting out of the cupboard but it jumps and moves around a lot when processing.

GOOD FOOD PROCESSORReceived as gift 12/25/15 and finally noticed 9/29/16 the motor was running backwards. Had only used it a few times to chop for an almond bar recipe and thought it didn't really work well. It wasn't until I wanted to shred cabbage I saw it was running backwards. Kitchen Aid completely replaced with a new unit and now I am satisfied with the unit. Many attachments to do anything with. Really looking to use the dicer soon

14 CUP RATINGI wish the 14 cup holder was made out of glass as well as the other parts. Plastic is more fragile, and hard to clean unlike glass

Food ProcessorI debated a long time about which food processor to buy to replace a Kitchenaid 7 cup that had worn out. I liked the idea of the dicing kit, but 14 cups is much larger than any processor I had previously owned. I do like the dicing kit, and I have used it several times. It works well, and I am happy with my decision. The smaller tube was one of my concerns, but it is larger than it appears to be. I put everything in the dishwasher, and I have had no problems.

Can't get the ctr piece apart from one of the slicing plateI have had the processor for well over a year but have never used any other parts other than just using the blade like a blender. Now that I want to venture out to do other things with it, I can't seem to find either another middle shaft that I can attach the shredder to, or get the one that's already attached to the slicing disc. I have watched numerous videos but non of them shows clearly how to detach a shaft from the blade plate. If someone out there knows please help? Thank you.

Quiet ApplianceI bought it in December and finally got a chance to use it mid-January. I made banana bread in it and when I creamed the sugar and shortening, the blade lifted up and was flopping about. I had to empty the bowl, clean it and reset the bowl and blade before I could continue. After adding wetter ingredients the blade did stay in place. This has happened twice now. I haven't use it for anything else yet.

a great kitchen toolI love the storage for the accessories. I wonder though, if all food processors leave a bit of dough on bottom. Yes, I use almond flour which might be the culprit. Simply great

KitchenAid Food Processor Multitasker from
Great productI had bought a cheaper processor but it could not do the job. I bought one in 1999 and it is still going strong. I use it a lot to make my special son's pureed or baby food. I also used it to make my own baby food when my children were small. Saved me a lot of money and the food was all natural. No preservatives. My son is 18 now and with the the hard work it has gone through the container and handle are starting to crack. I still have to puree my son's food and just throw everything in at once and it mixes it altogether. Can make smoothies with frozen fruit and it tears it up. My parent's have always used KitchenAid products for over 60 years. As an adult I too have been completly happy. Thank you KitchenAid for making a great product.

Glad we bought it...I'd give it a 5 star review but for the fact that the dicing is half inch dices. Sometimes I need a smaller dice...

It is also very hard to take on and off the top off the large bowl.

Big and nice product[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old brand. I like that they have the big and small bowl so that you can use for different size. So far I tried the big bowl and the blade got stuck on the shaft. Be careful and read the instruction. The lid is pretty tight and I need to use some force to carefully close it. It is easy to clean with the included brush. Love the slicing kit.

Good features, when they work.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the processor given to me as a Christmas present. After a few months the shaft froze together with a blade and came off the machine. Kitchen Aid was fabulous with a quick warranty. They replaced the machine quickly and with no fuss.
The only other issue I have had with the original machine and the replacement is the chopping attachment. It will go in once and then for the next 30 tries it will not. I do not know if the plastic warps a bit or what, but with either machine, I have only been able to use that attachment once.
The last and really minor problem is that the feed spout is entirely to small. I had a Cuisinart machine, and it was large. Their plastic was weak and I wanted a different brand, the Kitchen Aid had the chopping feature and it seemed to be great at first, but then the breakage occurred and the inability to use the chopping feature happened, so I bought a new bowl from Cuisinart and while their new design works,I am also not pleased with it.
My only advice is to choose what you will be using it on, Cuisinart is better for overall chopping and easier to clean. Kitchen Aid has better features(except feed spout), it is harder to clean and I would not use it for any dough making recipes as the shaft will overheat and break.
Both are quality pieces and warranty is great by Kitchen Aid.

Great but!!!I previously had another kitchenaid food processor didn't have the dicer so I just bought my new food processor just for the dicer. Well my top will not completely close so alas yesterday I had to make my salsa with my blade instead. I plan on calling kitchenaid for assistance so hopefully I'll have a better review after I finally get a chance to use the dicer.

Good for sauces and soup. Really bad for dicing.Food second time the support of the dicing knife stay blocked inside. I don't know only used for onion and cucumber and I can't take it out, and so I can't use the machine anymore.

Cannot replace the blade in dicing kit :(Overall I love this piece of equipment. I agree that the chute is too small, but I'm really disappointed that you cannot replace the blade on the dicing kit without having to purchase the whole dicing kit. Maybe I've not found it online, but I keep looking and i'm not finding it. The guards are coming off of the ends.

Works good[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item about a month ago it works good. the only thing I didn't like is that you have a lot of build up around the Ring of the processor when slicing and shredding

A touch weakI come from a culinary background and I am used to machines that are a bit more powerful, that being said I have used other brands of home processors and they seemed to power through items a little better. I do like the graduated start on the blade and the seal on the bowl but I think it should have more power for the 14 cup size of the bowl. I was making a batch of chimichurri and the blade slipped up and off the center shaft as it was on high. It melted a bit of the tip of the shaft but once I cleaned and removed the melted plastic the blade fit back on and I have used it since without further problems. Next time I might look for a different size or brand.
