The first two lasted about 2 weeks before the flow rate slowed to crawl and there was barely any ice being made. The third one almost made it two months, but then the same thing happened. I just got one delivered at the end of July. It's not August 10th and I'd say I'd be lucky to get another week out of it before it becomes dreadfully slow. I do all the necessary steps to flush new filters when I get them, running about 4 gallons through them, but they just don't last. For the amount of money I'm spending on filters I could buy a brand new refrigerator in a year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mamacita from Slowed my water flow So disappointed! Ordered a 2-pack. Changed filter - water flow slowed dramatically! It shouldn't take 4-5 minutes (literally) to fill my water bottle. Chalked up to faulty filter. Replaced it with the second one from my 2-pack - SAME THING!!!! Thought that the water line might be clogged but tried removing the filter and 4-5 minutes turned into less than 20 seconds. Won't be putting this filter in my fridge again. PS - EveryDrop: Please do not feel you have to post the computer-generated response about "Thank you for your message and call us." Will no longer be wasting my hard-earned money. #CustomerLost

Rated 4 out of 5 by dp811 from Read the instructions Lots of negative reviews for this great product. I've owned this fridge for 5 years and drink lots of great tasting water from the filter. The instructions say that when you replace the filter, you need to clear out the air and set the filter by running 3 GALLONS of water thru it using the 5 seconds on / 5 seconds off routine. Few people now days read the instructions or spend time to do the routine. Thus complaints. It works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fan of EveryDrop filters from Good product We have been using this filter in our Whirlpool Refrigerator for over 4 years. Even the grandkids can taste the difference when it needs to be replaced. We have never had any issue until yeasterday, we replaced the filter and did not get it tightened correctly. We can not stress enough the need to be sure everything is lined up and to double check there is no water leaking. The refrigerator was a huge mess. In the future we will replace the filter and check back in a few minutes to be sure everything is secure.

I love not having to fill up a separate pitcher or deal with bottled water, and it feels reassuring knowing there is an extra layer of filtration. On the other hand, I did notice that the flow from the dispenser is a bit slower than I expected, which can be noticeable when filling a tall glass. The installation was fairly straightforward, though it took a moment to get it properly seated. Overall it is useful and gets the job done.

I thought I'd look into buying a cheaper off-brand filter to save some money, but once I started looking into their reviews it didn't take long to realize that getting one that actually worked properly could be folly. Why gamble a good amount of money on something that may or may not work. I decided to invest in a filter that I knew I could rely on. It installed easily with no issues and has been delivering clean water and ice ever since. I'd give it 5 stars but I still think they are over priced.

Product comes equipped with NSF Certification: reducing lead, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and 28+ contaminants for better-tasting water and ice. It was a pretty easy Installation with simple instructions included; it has a simple twist-in design that fits compatible models without tools. Product lifespan requires replacement every six months or 200 gallons for optimal performance. Overall a good product; would use stein if found on sale!

(They tested directly from the well so not through your filter.). Can you tell me does your filter reduce PFOS or do I need to change filters now that I know there are PFOS. It is not mentioned but I thought that ANSI 53 was for PFOS. Thank you
