Rated 1 out of 5 by gangof4 from Coming apart after less than six months We had scratches, too, on the chrome plating after only five months, What is worse, the blue ceramic liner is starting to shred and flake off after the first time we used the autoclean function. What if some pieces had wound up in a casserole? What if there's a fire hazard, given the compromise to the liner (not to mention what more may follow in the weeks or months ahead?) My wife and I are very unhappy and upset with this product after spending more than $2K for it at a well known home improvement store. We want KitchenAid to replace this with a new unit before something worse happens. And hopefully the new unit will hold together more than this one.

The bottom oven is fine for a turkey but the top oven won’t fit a casserole dish with a lid. Also the burners are too close to each other. You can’t fit more than2 family size pots on them. Paid top dollar for this and have replaced the heating element in the bottom oven and the top oven cooks at a lower temp than set at. Now my largest burner went out and doesn’t work at all. This range should last more than 8 years!! Also the top oven contains the broiler and is so small the broiler that your food is almost against the flame.Very disappointed in Kitchen Aid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jennie N from Not so happy anymore I have owned my range for 4 years or so. I was very excited and happy with this product in the beginning. I read all the reviews before I made such a large purchase being a single mom. I have now owned this range for 4 years and am no longer as happy. About 2 years in my broiler stopped firing. Then one knob froze, and then a second knob froze and I am unable to use 2 of my burners. I did have an appliance guy come out and after an $85 service call, the estimate came back at $367. Today, I went to use the timer and it will not set. That was the final straw. I paid close to $1600 for this range. So disappointed in this product, I would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BillyJohn60 from KFGD500ESS...board & ignitor twice $800.00 later KFGD500ESS...We remodeled our kitchen 8 years ago and purchased this oven/stove. One of the main reasons was the smaller upper oven feature. It was great until 2019. We had to have the board & ignitor replaced just for the upper oven ($300.00). The upper broiler is fine. The lower oven & broiler are fine. Here we are 4 years later in 2023 having to do the same thing AGAIN...replaced the board & ignitor ($500.00.) We love the oven but really 2 boards & 2 ignitors & $800.00 later. But to buy a new one these days is absurd at $2000.00. Come on KitchenAid/Whirlpool. This is totally unacceptable. Do I need to start budgeting for another board & ignitor or a new oven in 2027?

Rated 5 out of 5 by PFrasca from I love my stove! We have had our stove for over a year now. Baking pizza is my hobby. I use the top oven, heat to 500 then turn on the broiler. I have a baking steel that just lives in there. 2.5 minutes then turn it, 1.5 minutes then turn off the heat. I let it sit for about another minute and it's the best pizza ever. I've had none of the problems in the 1 star reviews. My first rolling rack had to be replaced right off the bat but that's it. I purchased a grill that I use often in place of the griddle. Works amazing. I have zero complaints with my stove. Love the color (impossible to find anymore), love the look, love the functionality. I would buy again.

Right sizes and functionality - quality is top notch and this is one solid range. Our only - singular issue - is the requirement for the location of the gas line which is only limited to an approximate 8 inch by 10 inch area in the back left hand corner of the range. If your gas line come up in the middle area of the range, you'll not be able to install this correctly and push it all the way to the back wall, which might not be that big of a deal, but I wish there was a way to have known this ahead of time. I'm still rating this 5 stars, but everyone should know about this limitation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ScottB3855 from Disappointing performance. Does not seem to get as hot as previous stove. The griddle will not get hot enough to develop a crust on hamburgers. They just cook grey. it will boil water but not to a really rolling boil. The oven temps get to the indicated temperature but have to add time to cook my recipes to the same degree of doneness. This is a double oven range but only has one timer. There should be a timer for each oven. When the timer hits zero, it gives one beep and will beep one time in another minute. Then to stop it you have to touch the timer button twice. It needs to have a distinctive several note tone for 5 seconds that repats every 10 to 15 seconds

Rated 1 out of 5 by mac323 from Looks are deceiving I needed to replace the 25 year old range I was using. This time I wanted a double oven in white which I had the choice of two manufacturers. Unfortunately, I chose KitchenAid. I had the unit only 1 1/2 years and the upper oven stopped working. Repair was requested and the part was ordered. This happened before Thanksgiving (2020). Fast forward to Christmas week and now the lower oven ceased working. Another request for repair was made. I was informed that a part was ordered with NO ESTIMATED DATE for the part to arrive. The range is an attractive unit but the oven is useless, especially now in the cold Buffalo winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Legion Cook from Great Gas Oven We have had this unit for about one-month and love all of the features. We have been using this oven for about a month. Love all of features. Oven temps accurate to a single degree, not in 5 or 10 degree increments. The upper oven can handle more cooking than we thought. Middle burner is perfect for griddle cooking and provides uniform heat. I would 100% recommend this to others. Two things to note for potential buyers, but are only things to be aware of 1. The broiler only works in the upper oven 2. The lower oven door handle can hit the floor fairly hard if you are not careful. If you have tile floors this may be of a slight concern

It is so easy to use like having a smart stove oven, you push a button and it tells you what to do next. Very roomy, very easy to clean, the grill in the middle is great. Looks very expensive built great, easy to install. You can cook your whole meal at once between two ovens 5 burners, everything’s right at your finger tips. I love my stove! Preheat shows you the temperature going where you have selected. Everything cooks even no hot cold spots.
