Received range damagedI received the range and it was damaged. The warming drawer does not close, the oven door is out of whack, there is a dent inside the oven door and the glass top is all scratched.
I have made several phone calls, every time I called I was on hold for at least 1 1/2 hours before I spoke to someone. You never get the same person which means you have to start from the beginning. My last phone call was 12/22 and was told a new range was being ordered to replace this one, however, I have not received an email or any confirmation that this has been done. So today I’ll start calling again. This is so frustrating! Would love it if someone could help me.

It looks nice but it doesn't work as promised. We have been fans of KitchenAid for a very long time but this induction range and the poor response from KitchenAid/Whirlpool regarding service has ruined our good feelings. We had this $3,000 range for less than a month and the oven stopped working correctly leaving us unable to use it for the entire Thanksgiving holiday. The control panel went bad and we were without it again during the entire Memorial Day holiday. The customer service team doesn't follow up. We've spend endless hours trying to get help. I'm sorry to say the company isn't the fine company it once was.

You’ll be glad you didMy electric range was getting unreliable. The eyes were erratic so things would burn or not cook. This was my second top of the line electric that left me frustrated. I was seriously considering goin to gas which would have required a tank & plumping
a gas line in the house. when I went shopping the salesman mentioned induction & I’m what’s that? Well a new set of cookware & this stove have completely changed our cooking in a positive way. Instant control of heat on eyes, timers for each eye. Dual ovens. I couldn’t be happier. Only thing is the oven is a little slower to reach temp than my electric.

Won't Shut off!We purchased this through Ferguson's 13 months ago. I called out the service technicians almost immediately after install because the outside of the oven got too hot. They deemed it fine. Now that it's just out of warranty it won't shut off at temps above 400F. I've tried reaching out to Kitchenaid and have spoken with TrueBlue about my reservations regarding having the company fix the stove deemed "fine."
I works fine at 350F and 375F but the front panel seems to overheat at high temps. I may just have a bad luck. I wish it was fixed from the beginning.
-Sad and without dinner :(

Sleek, modern, great featuresWhen I decided to splurge on a new range, my wish list included: slide-in for a built in look, convection oven, stovetop with bridge element, warming setting on stovetop, baking or warming drawer or 2 ovens. I got all that and more - one rack that is fully extendable making it easy to check on, turn, and remove pans of vegetables, meat, cookies, turkey; proofing and steam baking for bread; convection roasting in addition to convection baking; superfast induction response on cooktop, a baking drawer that is essentially a second oven without sacrificing capacity of the main oven; and a complementary set of cookware for induction cooking.

Love/HatePros
- The induction cooktop is wonderful
- The primary oven is very good
- Having a secondary oven is very helpful
- The styling is very attractive
- The free 12-piece cookware is great
Cons
- The cooktop controls were designed without any regard to usability. It takes multiple, error-prone steps to use them. This is a big con.
- Three of the four burners are small and it is not possible to use two large pots simultaneously.
- AquaLift self cleaning is completely without merit.
- The baking drawer is quite small and only takes very short pans.

DisappointingI bought this range a while ago and am not happy with some things. When the timer goes off there is one beep. That’s it. So if you don’t happen to be in the room you miss it.
I always have more than one thing on the go so this is a big deal for me. Also I did not like how it looked in the counter so I bought the trim kit. The trim kit was another $100 and when we received it we were very disappointed as it is made of brushed aluminium and not stainless like the stove. Further the way you install the trim kit is with double sided tape. Looks terrible. The oven takes forever to heat up. I spent a lot of money on this and feel pretty disappointed

Cooking surface turns offHad the range for one week. So far, I’m not happy. My induction cooktop periodically turns off, continually beeps, and I can’t turn it back on. I have to m flip the circuit breaker off and on to reset the range. I don’t know if this is a “normal” safety feature when there is a boil over or too many times on the surface. The manual doesn’t have trouble shooting information for this issue. The electrician said the range is installed properly. I can’t tell if the cooktop is defective, or if the problem is due to “operator error”. Help! The oven takes a long time to preheat and it makes the control panel hot. Oven roasting Was uniform. Baking drawer seems to heat unevenly. Cookies in back were darker than the ones up front.

Don’t Buy!!!I’ve had this range for two years. It is the most ill designed appliance I’ve EVER purchased!!
The electronics are insanely ridiculous. You can’t wipe it without either turning something on or turning something off. The baking drawer works at will - mostly when you don’t want it.
It is NOT self cleaning!!!
If anything is near the controls, the stove top turns itself off.
I could go on and on.
I’ve had other kitchen aid appliances in the past that I was very satisfied with but truthfully, I don’t think I will EVERY buy another one again.
Kitchen Aid should be ashamed to put their name on this range.

Wow, Best Range I've Ever OwnedI am more than happy with my Kitchenaid Induction Slide-In Convection Range. I was having buyers remorse and then did a complete turn around once I used it for the first time. This range is the best range I've ever owned or cooked on. I replaced a dual fuel gas cooktop/electric oven that was very difficult to clean. The stovetop cooks everything very evenly with hardly any splatter. I use the helpful hint of putting a paper towel under the pan to avoid surface scratches and spills. So far all I've had to do is a quick wipe with warm water and dish soap. The digital controls are very easy to use. I love my new gorgeous Kitchenaid.
