Rated 4 out of 5 by LatentHeat from Very user friendly, just needs some accessories. I have had this range for the past year and I love it. I love cooking Asian foods and the convertable Wok stand is why I considered this range above any other. The even grating makes moving pots easy and cleaning easier. I do wish that KitchenAid would make a cast iron griddle replacement for this range so the right side could be a griddle and the left would be available for pots and pans. Just an idea. Otherwise the oven heats up quickly and the burners are responsive to avoid any boil over or scalding. I have only used the convection while cooking pizzas two at a time and it works well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Toni from New to convection cooking I'm going to start out with a Good rating because this was just installed a few days ago in our renovated kitchen and I've only heated one thing on it so far. I wanted to comment on some of the other reviews about the 3 other burners not cooking quickly. If you read the manual that came with the stove you can adjust the flame output on each burner. I can't wait to get started making meals again for my hubby and me and testing out the convection options. Oh, and since I want to start making bread I'm excited about the Bread Proofing feature.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cristina601 from Looks fantastic, hard to keep clean. I am thrilled with how this range looks. My biggest complaint is how long it takes for items to heat up. It seems as if the grates keep the pans high up from the flame and it takes an unusually long time to boil water, etc. I only use the dual fuel burner for most large tasks. Also, the stovetop is difficult to keep clean due to the fact that there are 2 large grates. They are cumbersome to move for regular cleaning. The convection oven works wonderful for baking, not thrilled with the gas broiler, doesn't seem particularly powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dougal from Excellent Range Replaced an old Amana (won't buy Amana again) first with Frigidaire. Returned the Frigidaire because the build quality was such that the bottom drawer wouldn't open & close squarely so it hit our custom cabinets. This Kitchenaid is a little more expensive but well worth it. Solid build quality and the frame around the entire stove/drawer fits perfectly in our custom space. Everything seems more solid. Cooking is excellent. It looks great also.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wayne from Good product but the range came without back filler piece We purchased the range and had it delieved and installed. We were disappointed that it did not come with the back filler piece to close the gap between the top of the range and the wall. The 15 year old GE range we replaced provided this filler piece. The hassle of having to fabricate something that should have been provided took the joy out of the new range which works well and looks nice. It dropped my rating from Excellent to average.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cookingrocks from Do NOT recommend at all! Do NOT buy this stove if you have any other choices. I had a jenn-air before which had so much power . The quality of grates, inside of oven, etc was so much better. You could bake anything in any type of vessel. ie/commercial all clad or porcelain, aluminum, etc and it would turn out perfect any time. You could bake on all 3 shelves at once and it would be even heat. If the pan is too heavy of a thickness ie/ all clad roasting pan, etc the oven is not able to heat through the pan. The contents aren't even warm. The fan keeps coming off and on. Heat keeps escaping through the running fan vent on the top of the stove. horrible even when u adjust cooking temp and time. Burners do not cook evenly either. contents get warm in pot around the edge and not in the middle. Very VERY disappointing. Would NOT recommend. I have been catering for over 30 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Philadelphia from Great product all around - performance, controls, aesthetics My one issue is that the broiler does not light properly after only 4 months - the electric element lights, but the gas flame does not turn on. This repair is covered by the warranty and the replacement parts are on order by Kitchen Aid's designated repair firm, but it is disappointing to have a problem after such a short time. For this reason, I am marking "quality" as "good" rather than "excellent."

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hildo222 from Love the convection baking Bought the oven a year ago pre-Xmas when our 8 year-old Kitchenaid started to have serious issues. It wasn't our plan to buy Kitchenaid but the features for the money seemed reasonable and we were quite happy with our other Kitchenaid appliances. We likely bake every other week and the convection cycle leaves everything evenly done. Hopefully this oven gives us years of good service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Njd38 from Works very well and gives a good appearance Stove cooks in all modes very well grates on top though need extra care when removing to clean cooktop the stainless steel on the top part is susceptible to scratching when removing grates should have had more protection. And also very difficult to adjust the feet to level stove the back feet are not accessible once in place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Janet from Very loud and can not use self cleaning functionality This range is extremely loud when using the oven. The fan screaches and whirls and is very annoying. I have had maintainence out and they can not fix it. I can not use the self clean option...it blows out the mother board. I have had it replaced twice. This unit is a real lemon!
