Keyboard ErrorsI purchased this oven about 4 months ago for a new home we had built. It was between this and an LG model. We love the oven except for the Keyboard Key Stuck error (Error code F2E1) we continually get when cooking anything that produces condensation that flows over the keypad when you open the oven door. We have had the keypad replaced 3 times along with a logic board. KitchenAid has yet to step up and resolve the problem or replace the oven. I continue getting the run around with their support team and we are trying again to have another service tech come out. I would have expected a better quality product and better support from this brand.

Ruined our Holiday Celebrations!Bought a bunch of KitchenAid appliances as part of a complete remodel this fall. We have used the Double Oven less than 10 times. # hours into cooking our Christmas Turkey we started getting error fodes on the display and the oven turned off. After 2 days and many hours on the phone talking to support staff and service engineers, I found out that the busted part is in high demand and is on back-order. So there is no hope of getting this oven fixed in time for New Year celebrations. So that event is now on hold as we try to rearrange our plans.
Bottom Line: If you don't want to be let down at the most important moment, avoid this product!

Fast preheat that is faster than our last one.Purchased this last November 2019 after our 11 year old KitchenAid Steam assist wall oven had to be replaced because they no longer could replace the control board. What a LOSS!! Loved the steam assist oven! It was our work horse! Worked beautifully, and was QUIET! This one is a NIGHTMARE! DO NOT BUY!! REPEAT!! DO NOT BUY, RUN AWAY IF IT IS OFFERED TO YOU!! It is soooooooo NOISY. We told the salesman we did not want anything noisy, we had seen reviews of some models have a problem with noise. THIS IS NOT SOMEWHAT! IT SCARES PEOPLE! WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER KITCHEN AID PRODUCT or purchase from same place again!!!

Broke down after 1.5 years useWe purchased this oven with our new constructed house, and we moved in 1.5 years ago. After using the self cleaning program as instructed in the manual, the lower oven stopped heating. After 2 months and 4 factory service appointments the lower oven still doesn't heat. 2 weeks ago KitchenAid customer service promised to send a part that the KitchenAid factory service couldn't locate, but today received information that no part has been sent. Despite delays and age of appliance KitchenAid doesn't agree to cover anything other than the part they didn't yet send. Very dissapointed. Don't know if we ever dare to use the self cleaning again.

Love my new wall ovenI have only used my wall oven a few times because I also bought the convection microwave from Kitchenaid, so that gets used most often. I use the wall oven when I have to bake something too large to fit in the microwave. I love this oven because it is so efficient and holds heat so well. It only takes about 5 minutes to heat up to 400+ degrees, which I love as all my other ones typically take at least 9-10 minutes. Also, once this unit reaches temperature, it is so well insulated that it hardly radiates any heat in the kitchen, to the point I can touch the glass window on the door. Best wall over for the price!!!

Dissatisfaction of productOver the years, I have bought easily six or more ovens. I have never had to do anything other than turn them on to a temperature, and they would work flawlessly. However, with these KitchenAid ovens, it has been a constant battle to get them to get to and stay on the temperature that I've set them. It is maddening. I am sorely disappointed in their quality. I've called the 800 number 3 different times, had a technician out to my house, calibrated the ovens 3 times, and still they do not work properly. I would stay away from this product if at all possible. I am an excellent cook, but using these ovens has been a nightmare.

Like the BlackstainlessI bought this product about a month ago and on 1/4/2018, my wife informed me that it was a couple of spots that will not wipe out. After looking at the spots, I determined that it was a defection in the coatings that was installed inside the oven. I called Kitchenaid and they told me that it was nothing that they can do for internal paint defections. The oven was working and Kitchenaid considered it a non problem. But every time you open the oven door these spots jump right at you. I am guessing what the oven will look like a few months from now or years?
I was disappointed that Kitchenaid did not stand by their product.

horriblenew construction, just moved in August 2017 and we selected all KitchenAid appliances including this double stove and a warming drawer. The lights on the stove did not work, we notified Lowes (where we purchased) and they sent "service" company to repair, service company said it needed a new board and by the way, after they pulled it out, the board must have come loose and stove doesn't work at all now (5 days before Christmas) Service company says they can't do anything else because our unit doesn't have a serial number on it. APPARENTLY our stove is MISSING some tag that should have the serial number.... we have all of the receipts but every phone call we make is a horrible experience because no one can seem to figure out what to do since the tag is missing.

Poor QualityWe got this oven through our Toll Brothers whereby the standard appliance throughout the house is Kitchen Aid. We had positive experience on KA brand in the past and was caught by surprised/disappointment that this Oven is way below standard.
As we tried to use the oven for the first time, we set the temp up to 375 degree. About 20 mins going, we heard popping and cracking sound from the oven. We thought our food exploded. Came to realize the oven blue enamel got chipped from every sides (see pictures). As we continue using the oven the second, the enamel got chipped more/spreading.
Asked Toll Brothers that if the unit is defect and want a replacement. They asked to contact the KA directly for warranty replacement.
How can you help Kitchen Aid - Warranty dept?

Not sureI would never buy another kitchenaid product. I bought a double oven it would Never bake right. I put $1,250.00 into the oven replacing every twice plus a $150
Electrician bill because it had been taken out so many times the wire broke. AFTER it’s out of warranty kitchenaid will sell you another oven for another $1,0000 the KODE500ESS which has horrible reviews I did not want. The repair man came out on this new oven because I could not get a recipe to work with time and temp. I haven’t baked with out since he adjusted it so I don’t know.
But I now get anxiety just looking at the oven. Your customer service SUCKS
