Nothing but problemsWithin the past 2 months I have had the keyboard replaced twice today it is completely dead after using the self cleaning option now the door won’t open It completely died. This is 5 days before Christmas. Repairman won’t come till the 26th. I’m not a happy camper. This was the best oven at first but I sure was fooled. Like the other review the blue has flaked up looks like we dug into the oven with a knife. Warranty won’t cover cause they say it’s cosmetic. Won’t recommend this to anyone as these are not cheap wasted money.

DO NOT BUY!!!I am HOPING I can get Kitchenaid to do something about this oven!! The lining is splinttering and cracking!! I have a piece in my hand from trying to clean it. The store where I ordered it sent out a 3rd party repair man to look at it. He contacted Whirlpool on my behalf and it was denied because it is COSMETIC. I have been using this oven for 2 months. I spent over $10k on Kitchenaid appliances for my new house and THIS!!

Blue lining is Cracking after 4 uses!!I had a Whirlpool Double Oven for 12 years and never had a problem. I updated my kitchen and changed to all stainless appliances and spent over $11K on Kitchenaid! After using my oven, the upper, I haven't used the bottom oven yet, it has a big chip/splinter on the bottom front of the lining!! I want this replaced. I have already heard the "cosmetic" excuse. This is not cosmetic, this is defective! Do NOT buy this product.

Heat venting during/after useI just had my double wall oven installed on Friday. Looks great. Bakes good so far, but here's my problem. During baking and after during the "oven cooling down" cycle, hot air is vented from below the lower oven into the kitchen. The temperature of the air coming out the vent is 105 degrees F, while the oven is in use and for an hour after it gradually decreases to room temperature. It does this when using either the upper or lower oven. Is this normal? While I might like this feature during cold months, it is not a good feature when the temperature outside is hot and the home air conditioner is on.

Interior blue paint flakingWe have all KitchenAid appliances in two houses and love their design. However, KitchenAid has a major problem with the blue paint flaking off inside this oven. It happened immediately on this model. After battling on many phone calls they finally replaced the unit. Of course the new unit is now having the same problem (seems that the self-cleaning cycle may trigger it) and now we're going through the same frustrating phone calls with claims it is cosmetic. Paint flaking off and getting in your food is no cause for concern with KitchenAid.

The ovens run cold.I like everything about our new double ovens except that they run very cold and the instructions just say to get used to it. I have had to do a bunch of test batches of baked items that require specific heat settings to figure out how to adjust my recipes. I have baked the same recipes for over 40 years in various ovens of various makes and ages, and I have never had the same issues I am having with these ovens. I will figure it out eventually but it is disappointing.

Timer issue, Default settingsWould like to know how to set up default values such as ALWAYs select recipe adjust and skip the timer. Would prefer to set the timer when we play the food in the oven rather than when we turn it on to preheat. Real pain in the butt to have to turn the whole thing off and start over, especially with all of those extra steps.
