LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!After making due with my countertop toaster oven for several months, I thought we were doing okay. Meatloaf and pizza? On the BBQ. When our new oven finally arrived, I realized what I had been missing. Even though the size (27") is the same as our 18-yr-old model, it seems like the capacity is larger. The window on the door is larger and the display panel is easier to read. I also appreciate the satin-glide shelf, so much so that we ordered 2 more. This oven is powerful! It will char chicken wings under the broiler inside of 3 minutes. Overall, we're making some subtle adjustments to how we cook with the unit, but are so very pleased with it.

I didn't know what I was missing!Needed a new oven after 20 years. Decided on this convection thing and love it; quiet operation. I bake bread all the time, as well as roasting and baking other things. The "proof" mode is great for rising yeast bread. Mostly I find keeping the recommended temperature the same and reducing slightly the cook time works best.
Oven lights (2) and large window really allow me to see inside with confidence. Racks are flexible and easy to move. The "handle" cut into the front of the rack is helpful. Digital display didn't require a lot of trial and error; it is intuitive enough. Very happy with purchase, though the timer signal could be louder.

Love everything about this oventhis oven replaced an old oven that originally came with my house. I've never cooked much to begin with but I find myself looking forward to using it more and more. I love the rack that slides, you can move it anywhere in the oven. I like that it's a convection too. The window is big and beautiful so you can really see how food is cooking. I love the inside color of blue. It does seem to take awhile to preheat but that doesn't bother me at all. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase, in fact, I like the kitchenaide products so well I got a microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor too! Everything matches and my kitchen looks brand new.

Worst oven I have ever ownedThis has happened two times. I am terrified of this oven and fear it will cause a fire. I was told by the repairman NEVER to use the cleaning cycle again as this would happen again, and it did. The company will not authorize an RA for me to get another oven, they claim there is nothing wrong with my product. There is a defect and I am paying the price
for their negligence! It is not over and other steps may have to be taken, it is up to Whirlpool. Just read their terms for rating the product. I now know why they only have great reviews, they can reject a review. I am telling the truth, lets see if my review is rejected.

So far, we have had an excellent experience.I was able to install this wall oven easily, with no previous experience. Removing the door and shelves made it a one-person (two would have been easier) job. The oven had the exact installation features that made it fit exactly where our very old JennAir oven lived. Using the included installation instructions, the entire process was completed in under an hour. Much better than I had anticipated. First testing of the oven was a complete success and we are now using it daily, without any issues at all. This is a quality product that lives up to its hype. We have no doubt that this KitchenAid oven will serve us faithfully for many years to come.

A LemonIt took 3 weeks to get it ordered and delivered. Great I thought.....2 weeks later it started beeping until it quit. It died. We called the store we bought it from, they had a repair man come out to fix it 3 days after we called. Unfortunately, he informed us that the problem was a circuit board and the front panel. He informed us we had to wait until Monday when he could order the parts. We waited until Thursday only to find out they couldn't get the parts until the following Monday or Tuesday. Don't understand why the parts couldn't be overnighted because now it will be at least another week before someone can come out to fix it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT!I bought and had this thing installed some time ago. Although it came with INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, THERE WAS NO OWNERS MANUAL. Despite repeated attempts to contact Whirlpool/Kitchenaide by phone, I've found the wait times INTERMINABLE. I have yet to speak with a real person. In response to an e-mail, I got a substantially delayed e-mail response that my Owners Manual was on the way in the mail. Two weeks later, I have YET to get the Owners Manual. In comparison to the customer support for a CAFÉ brand oven I bought at the same time, the KitchenAide support is TERRIBLE. It's a lovely looking oven. But I have yet to use it.

Comparison of 24" to 27" Single Wall oven KitchenOur first purchase was a 24 " KitchenAid Single Wall oven kitchen, the second was a 27" KitchenAid Single Wall oven. The 27" is more quiet (less hummm) and heats in a quicker time frame. The software controlling the selection of temperature choices, timing, and alarms is easier to follow and set. The 3 shelves are an improvement compared to the 24" ovens' shelves demonstrating more space internally, the 3 shelves are more stable and easier to adjust, the in-oven light is positioned on two sides and the front glass/pane allows an improved view of the food as baking/broiling, etc. progress.

Un happy owner from
Worst everMine has rarely been used and is slightly more than 1 year old. The thermostat broke the first time the self cleaning was used. It no longer heats and the thermostat has to be replaced. The fan is loud when it preheats. The oven temperature is inaccurate. I have owned numerous homes with numerous ovens. This Kitchen Aid is the only one I have had a negative experience with.

Love the exterior color!I bought Kitchrnade for 1 very specific reason, they had a great name. I also really liked the blue interior on the ovens, made my choice easier. What a disappointment when it was delivered for installation, along with every pother kitchen appliance we had. They only do blue interior on stainless steel, not Black stainless! WHAT, even the salesman at Best Buy Pacifica had no idea. She knew exactly why I went with Kitchenade over GE higher end models was the blue, but no, they do not do it. It also seems to take forever too cool down, even have tried leaving the door cracked, but it still has the fan running for 2 hours after I used it at 400 degrees for 20 minutes!
