Rated 1 out of 5 by thebum from Noisey Bought this a month ago to match my new fridge. It was a direct replacement of my old Kitchen aid combo oven. Big mistake. The cooling down fan whistles like wind blowing through my chimney. Up and down. Different pitch constantly.It is so loud you can hear it on the other end of my house. Since we have an open kitchen to the family room this is horrible. Called service and they said they put in a larger fan because control panels were getting fried. Where the heck was the quality control when this was designed. Horrible Horrible product. I'm done with Kitchen Aid. The good part is everything else about it works great. I wish I could get my money back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yodameekasan from Well designed with great features 1. The control panel plastic is very sensitive and makes it hard to clean fingerprints without activating cycles. We have the regular oven and microwave combo control systems so there are a lot of buttons to accidently touch. 2. The control buttons need to have more contrast/color to see and easily use. 3. The appliance installers mentioned there would be ‘odors’ associated with the initial use of the oven. They were right. It’s been six weeks since installation (Nov 2018) and there is still an odor during the cooling cycle. Not as strong as initially, so evidently it is dissipating and will become less offensive and noticeable with further use

Rated 2 out of 5 by ohgram from Would not buy again The lower oven is generous in size but lacks some features such as "warm" setting to keep foods ready and also convection cooking is confusing. The MICROWAVE oven is horrible!!! I had no light on a brand new set and even with the repair you are lucky to be able to see anything in the oven when cooking. The light is terrible and if it needs replaced, expect a large service call to take out both ovens to go in over the top!! Fortunately mine was under warranty. I would NOT recommend this combo to anyone and wish I had not chosen this. I would buy separate and get a good microwave. And BTW, it took 3 months to get the part!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by JRed from Happy for the most part, but also disappointed We just had this installed over a week ago. Baking in the oven has been working very well, and for the most part using normal microwave cooking has been good as well. If you like to cook popcorn in your microwave, DO NOT, buy this unit. You will be very disappointed. Using the built-in popcorn feature for some reason can't cook the bag of microwavable popcorn, and it's not adjustable as far as I can tell. We tried setting a time on the microwave to cook a bag, and it still can't cook at the kernels in the bag before it starts to burn the cooked popcorn. For our house, cooking popcorn is one of the main tasks of the microwave.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fiona from Very Happy I have had this oven about 2 weeks . I have used it every night . It has a quick preheat and so far has a good consistent temperature . This is a well built oven , slide in rack has been very helpful . Controls are very easy with a lot of options . The only problem I have had is that I have never had a convection microwave and I'm not sure how to use it properly. The handbook was for the lower oven , I assume there should have been a separate one for the microwave but it wasn't in the box . I tried to find it online but it wasn't there . Called kitchenaid but got stuck on hold . I will try again to get one .

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrs. Anne from Versatile features I bought this oven combo when my current oven died. I told the salesman he had to convince me I needed all the features on this set. I've lived 57 years without all the bells and whistles, why learn something new? He convinced me, and I am so glad he did! I have tried almost every feature so far. The microwave is huge and powerful. The oven has 3 racks so I can make 3 pizzas at a time when all the grownup kids come home! The convection roast feature cooks a pot roast in under an hour. The oven has a conversation with you when you program it, asking what you want to do. It made it very easy for this 57-year old home-cook to learn some new things.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Commissioner Fiala from Awful...........just awful I bought this oven combo because my last Kitchen Aid was wonderful and it was everything I could want in performance. This one does not cook evenly, and leaves parts of a casserole or a roast partially cooked. It's just awful! The Microwave won't cook a frozen Stouffer meal thru in the time it calls for, it stays soggy on the bottom. when trying to cook it longer, it splatters all over the microwave oven but still doesn't cook the middle! It is the worst oven I've even used in my life! When talking about it in the beauty shop, the owner also bought one and hers also does not cook properly, so she has stopped cooking! I will call Bill Smith Appliance tomorrow and get rid of it, no matter how beautiful it looks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ram44 from Do not buy this oven We've owned this combo oven in 2 homes. We are now on our 5th circuit board; 2 in one house and now our 3rd in the other. These circuit boards are not carried in-stock by your local repairman, so it typically takes one to two weeks to get it replaced, plus numerous calls to customer service. And in the meantime you have no oven nor microwave. Beyond frustrating, I've expressed my concern to Kitchen Aid numerous times to no avail. I even provided the courtesy of sending this review to them in advance, giving them 72 hours to respond before posting it. Nothing but crickets. So I can only conclude: KitchenAid has poor quality and poor customer service, and they don't care about either one. Why would you buy this oven?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Carrie from Does not last I bought this dual oven 6 and a half years ago. I purchased the extended warranty and now I am out of luck. The microwave has decided not to heat anymore. I had a repairman out today who said it would cost over $700.00 to fix it as the motherboard and inverter are kaput. So I am not a happy camper with Kitchen Aid. My refrigerator also, a Kitchen Aid also had the motherboard go out and I had to pay $700 to fix it. My dishwasher, also a Kitchen Aid product does a marginal job cleaning the dishes.Kitchen Aid is not what it is all cracked up to be. I say do more research!

I used the microwave one time and the board on behind the display went out 2 days after it was installed. I was informed that I have to work directly with KitchenAid, as opposed to the retailer (Home Depot). The part was unavailable and it took KitchenAid/Whirlpool 26 days to resolve this issue. In the 26 day period, I did not have a working microwave OR oven. This was all during the month of December, Christmas time. Therefore, I cannot comment on the East of Use or Performance of this product. Very slow process, a lot of phone tag. Confusion between KitchenAid/Whirlpool and the retailer.
