Rated 5 out of 5 by ChewieL from Disappointed with staining inside glass door I love the oven, but I’m extremely disappointed with the response I received from KitchenAid when I called to ask about the staining inside the glass on the oven door. The first time I cleaned the oven, I followed KitchenAid’s instructions in the owners manual and cleaned the glass with a water soap mixture. After that the inside of the glass head staining that could only be removed by taking the glass door apart by a service technician at a cost of over $200. When the service technician came out to the house to clean the glass he stated that this happens all the time, When I called and spoke with a KitchenAid rep, I was told this was “cosmetic“ and was not covered under the warranty. I think, at the very least KitchenAid should acknowledge this drawback and list it in the owners manual, stating that staining may occur on the inside of the glass door if you clean the glass inside the oven with soapy water. The service tech told me it is much better to remove any dark hard deposits with a razor blade or steel wool.

He made sure they are absolutely level so my cakes cook evenly. What a joy to have an oven that will perform exactly as expected! I don't know how to add a photo but I would add a photo of my big smile.

Even-Heat(TM) Preheat really works to remove cold spots and bake evenly. High temp broiler does the job and even provides pro level browning of foods. Proofing setting and convection baking makes baking bread a repeatable success. Controls are well laid out and clear. Fit and finish, exterior and interior, are superior. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kman137 from Great looking oven, works great Just got the oven installed last week. So far we have used almost every function, convection roast for a whole chicken, convection for meat, and bake for cookies. We have no complaints other than the built-in timer alarm is too quiet to hear if you're sitting in the other room and it only beeps once. I would recommend setting on timer on your phone if you're not going to be in the kitchen while something is baking in the oven. ALso, it was very expensive but it was one of the only ovens on the market that would fit our existing opening. The old 1990s 24in stove was wider than this unit (even though the inside dimension was same) so we had to add 2 inches to the cabinet in order to mount this oven. Keep that in mind if you have paid for installation. Pull the old oven out and measure the opening before scheduling install, you may need to hire a carpenter or handyman to modify the existing cabinet.
