The thermal cup allows you to put just the right amount of water in the reservoir. A little less water, and you can add cream in the cup while the coffee brews. I can turn it on before brushing my teeth and shaving, and coffee is ready to take to work when I'm done. The ONLY issue I have, is that the website won't accept the model number for registering the product.

Ihavent had any issues with it whatsoever... it is a drip coffee maker but looks really great on my counter next to my Kitchen aid mixer! :) I use the cup as a carafe and it is very convienient. Not only is my coffee piping hot when brewed - it remains so all the while I am enjoying my morning jolt of java! If I have to run, the thermos is made to go along for the ride. I have found it better than my previous husband, who didn't make the coffee and was never ready to leave the house when I was on my way out the door - his hair just wouldn't cooperate and, after all, there was a perceived image to keep!

You can make the amount you want by filling up the water top to how much you want. I use Almond milk in my coffee and want it to be less so I can add in when complete. Just wish I could have had the RED one. But the silver is awesome!!!

It has a classic look to it and works perfectly every time! Best of all is the ability to make a cup of coffee any way you like it strong or weak, it tastes great! I love the basket that comes with it too.

It stopped brewing coffee even after a proper cleaning and descaling. So I called KitchenAid and they replaced my personal coffee maker with no problems. It was quick and very easy on my end of returning the product. They sent me a new personal coffee maker which is wonderful. It makes great coffee. You can purchase great products but if you do not have the service to stand behind it, it is not worth it. Love KitchenAid products and will continue to purchase this brand only.

Provides an excellent brew quickly and the sippy cup is perfect. The only thing it lacks is a heated plate to keep your coffee warm, but that would add to the cost. If you drink your coffee right away, like I do, who needs it anyway?

Everybody gets a fresh carafe of steaming hot coffee or you can have cups or mugs if you choose. Either way, it's the best tasting coffee ever and a very simple, yet versatile machine!

The coffee is ho, not Luke warm like other models. The reusable coffee filter makes Cleaning a snap.The travel mug is sturdy and looks great. I love it.

Re-useable lifetime filter that's breeze to clean. No buying expensive little "cups". The only minus is the dark smoke finish on the water reservoir, makes it a tad hard to see the water level, although not impossible.

When I saw this product, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase it. I love the Kitchenaid brand & have many of their products in my kitchen. This coffee maker makes a perfect size cup of coffee for me. It took me two or three attempts to get the proper strength, but that is a matter of taste & not a fault of the product. It brews quickly & it is very easy to clean afterwards. I only wish that I could find the additional travel mugs in retail stores. They are also very hard to find online. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!!!

Like the fact that coffee grounds, of your choice, can be added to the basket, no need to purchase expensive pods! Only problems I have encountered, is that the rubber sleeve falls to the bottom of the cup, when it is hot, does not stay in place. Thanks for asking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by patt from fantastic i love kitchen aid and when i saw the coffee maker i knew i had to have it. i have never had a bad thing by kitchen aid. i can set it up at nite and touch a button and hoorah it starts. it only takes a few minutes and i have hot hot hot coffee. it is a little pricey but its kitchen aid. i know that if i have problems they will take care of it. i have my kitchen aid coffee right if front of me as i type this. thanks again.

The brew is rapid, you can use the furnished cup or your own favorite. The furnished cup has anti-spill features to minimize impact on the office or lab. I highly recommend this unit. Art R
