It was without a doubt my best Christmas gift this year. We have used these mixers to slice and dice vegetables, we used this mixer to make fresh pasta, we used this mixer to combine ingredients from making all types of breads to making fine delicate, cookies and candies. I think it fair to say our stand mixers have been use by myself or my wife almost daily in the last 30 years. Lastly I have bragged about the versatility and ease of use that I have made numerous family and friends into "K A" junkies.

When I left home, for years baking didn't feel the same. Now I realize how much more fun (and clean, somehow) this mixer makes cooking. I have a small galley kitchen with very little real estate for appliances, but this mixer will always live on my counter. Last week, I made whipped ganache, a cake, and my first round of fresh pasta! Total game-changer.

After using a hand mixer for many years, I was amazed at how much faster making cookie dough was! But then my husband bought me a brand new one for Christmas and gave it to me early so I could use it for holiday baking. Holy Cow!! I've cut the time I use to mix everything in half! I am so happy with this mixer, and will be leaving it to my granddaughter when I'm gone.

I wanted one for 10 years, I just never pulled the trigger. Let's be honest, when a kitchen appliance is more than 2 car payments, it stings for the average household. Since putting this sweet teal pastel beast on my counter, I haven't left the kitchen and it now has a name. Grateful for this lifetime appliance. KitchAid, do yourself a favor and always maintain the quality of your products, with so many options, knowing these mixers are tried and true is really important.
