And the hope that perhaps one day I would turn into a semi-serious home baker. While the latter still hasn't happened yet, this beauty still shines on my countertop several years later. No tarnishes or blemishes at all. An heirloom piece for sure.

I've used it to knead some really tough breads, and it handles it with grace. Every detail is gorgeous, and the motor purrs. I've restored and fixed old KitchenAid mixers from family members. This baby is built to last, and is definitely going to see another generation if not two.
