My kitchen top cabinets are low so I was only able to purchase the Mini 3.5 Quart mixer. IT IS PERFECT! You can not mix anything taking more than 4 cups of flour, 3 1/2 cups is actually the best. At 80 years of age and loving to bake I am so happy I made this purchase.

I used it with my KSMPRA Pasta Roller & Cutter Attachment Set and am happy with the results. Haven't tried it with my KSMMGA Metal Food Grinder Attachment yet. Fits in the available space in my small retirement apartment nicely. At my age my kneading dough by hand days are over, thanks to KitchenAid I can still enjoy homemade bread!

Easy to carry and shift, also easy to clean. Always exciting to work with kitchen aid and makes my job easy. Since I have a small kitchen area I choose the mini stand mixer. I wished to have a red color stand mixer tried a lot but I got white one after waiting for long.

This is a great mixer with plenty of power. There’s only two of us left in my household so I do not need anything large. I live in a condo and this works out perfect and does not take up a lot of space. I have made everything from bread though, pizza dough and cakes with no problem.

I have fibromyalgia and other medical conditions that made using the full size mixer difficult. The kitchen aide mini makes it so much easier to use. More lightweight and smaller. Perfect for all my needs!!!

I had inherited a KitchenAid mixer from my Mother, but it was too tall to fit comfortably under my cabinets. However, I happened to notice the Artisan line as being a "smaller foot-print" than the full size. The "selling point" was the Candy Apple Red color....contrasted nicely with the mint green tile in the kitchen. I was able to use it for the first time in making a Valentine cake. It worked wonderfully......I am quite pleased!

However, this “mini” 3.5q size is perfect! Its big enough for a batch of cookies or a loaf of bread dough. I bake quite often, and have yet to encounter anything it can’t handle, although I suppose if you need to do things on a professional scale, or for large family, you might find the larger machines more useful. However, for a 2 person household the mini has been perfect. It even works with most attachments. No need to buy store bought noodles the next time you make soup if you have the basic pasta set.
