So glad I went with the mini, as it is plenty big! Unless you make huge cakes etc the mini is perfect, plus easy to move around.

So far it looks and feels like a great version of the classically great KitchenAid mixer. We read that all mixer attachments would fit this mixer but that has not been our experience. We have a slicer/shredder attachment that works on our Pro5 Plus that does not fit the Artisan Mini so be mindful if you're planning to use accessories.

It’s been nothing short of excellent. But now I’ve retired and have a smaller kitchen and wanted a mixer I could keep out, even with limited counter real estate. And it had to be a KitchenAid. A month ago I bought the 3.5 quart Artisan. The large mixer has been put away for large occasions. So far in the last month I’ve made a cake and homemade biscuits. I’ve not been disappointed. It works as well as the 6 quart, just on a smaller scale. It’s easy to clean and takes up less space. Accessories can be used with either. I’m very glad KitchenAid has kept up the quality!

The smaller design is nice for the weight reduction and fits my counter space under my cupboard. The Mini is very durable and performs just like the original. I find the overall quantity of dough I’m able to mix to be just right for one or two people. I’m able to mix cookie dough for a dozen or so cookies in the provided mixing bowel. I definitely recommend this item if counter space is limited and if there isn’t a need for mixing alot of dough.

I purchased my new Mini Tilt-Head Kitchen Aid a month ago and have made 3 large batches of eggnog, Christmas cookies and a loaf of bread. Couldn’t be happier. The size fits easily on my kitchen counter and allows me to rekindle my creative baking persona.
