With some of the attachments we have purchased so far grating cheese, coleslaws and salsas. It has a permanent home on our counter. This stand mixer represents an awesome purchase.

After I sold my home and moved into a townhome, I decided that this cook is going to finally get one. They’re fun [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my stand mixer 3 months ago and I have loved every minute of having it! I have been using the hand mixer for 35 years. Having this KitchenAid has made baking so much fun! The only thing I wish is that the glass mixing bowls had a guard on them like the metal ones do. I get flour & powdered sugar splattered on my mixer. My husband mixed up pizza dough with the dough hooks and I have made many batches of cookies and cakes in it and absolutely love it. This fall I’m going to be using the dough hooks and making up some cinnamon rolls!

It’s a power base for lots of kitchen fun. I think I have nearly all the add-ones, like grinder, slicer, pasta cutters, even the ice cream maker, as well as several of the more decorative bowls. I have been known to pick out an attachment, then look for a recipe so I could use it. Buy one in a color you love and let it inspire you.

Unfortunately, the first mixer wouldn't spin when turned on. Customer service was great and another one was in the mail immediately. So far I have used it to make cookies and bread and I love that I don't have to use a hand mixer anymore. The bread hook is amazing since I no longer have to knead the dough by hand. I highly recommend this mixer!

My husband and I used it often. We decided we needed a new mixer and found the artisan mixer that was on close out sale. I had the basic mixer but I was able to upgrade to the artisan mixer for same price. We are really enjoying our new mixer. I told my husband that this is our 50th wedding anniversary gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gail8862 from Bought to replace my 30+ year old KitchenAid [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a more powerful model to replace my still working, but showing a little age, KitchenAid stand mixer. I’m very happy with it, as I expected to be. Several batches of chocolate chip cookies, English muffins, cakes, cupcakes frosting, and with the shredder attachment for cole slaw and egg roll filling and it’s working exactly as expected. Couldn’t be happier (and I’m giving my old one to my oldest daughter). Although, I did keep the old whisk since the base is from machine stock where the one that came with the new mixer is cast aluminum which doesn’t look as nice and isn’t as strong.

I was worried the glass bowl would be unwieldy and heavy, but it's super easy to work with. Can't wait to keep buying accessories to unlock new potential with my mixer.
