Very versatileLike the ability to manually change temp and time. Made great yogurt and chicken broth so far. Looking forward to the ability to have more temp control than the stovetop. Very easy to clean

Versatile and easy to useI recently purchased this appliance and I’m so happy I did. The multi cooker is so easy to use, you can switch between sear and slow cook with just one button and one pot. The best part is the outside and underside doesn’t get hot. Makes wonderful risotto. The stir tower does all the work.

Fantastic ProductMy family bought this last month while shopping for a slow cooker. This Multi-Cooker offers that ability and so much more. As a family, we have used the cooker a number of times with great results each time. It was a nice way to cook and keep things warm over the holidays when extended family was visiting. I look forward to trying more recipes using this multi-cooker. The stirring motor is audible but not too loud.

Gimmicky Gadget? Gosh, no!I’m the typical Boomer. I know how to read a recipe, shop for the right foods, and practice culinary wizardry between reruns of The Lawrence Welk Show on PBS (okay, that last one wasn’t serious). I saw the Multi-Cooker with Stir Tower in an ad on Pinterest. That took me to Kitchenaid’s website. I ordered one 15 minutes later. Since its arrival, I’ve cooked with it at least twice a week, and have used all programmed functions. This thing is perfect. It doesn’t make cooking any ‘easier’; it’s not here to prepare a meal for me. It’s biggest benefit to me is taking some of the mundane tasks away so I can concentrate on the finer details of a recipe. The best use thus far: constant and consistent stirring for the best Risotto I’ve ever made; a deep, dark roux; chili con carne with a consistent temperature throughout; making my own cheese, including ricotta and mozzarella; yoghurt; sautéing EVERYTHING just right. This is the Love Child of my slow cooker and stand mixer, and worth every penny I spent. The only—-ONLY—-concern I have: the black nonstick surface wears really fast. That doesn’t bother me so much, since I know how to use oils and fats to achieve the same results. But I’d prefer more durability.
Regardless: this thing is a cook’s robot. I named mine Rosie (just betraying my Boomerhood here. I’m sure you’ll get the reference.), partially because she’s a deep, rich red.
Buy yours, use it, name it. And let’s compare notes.
