This increase in voltage makes it so much easier to mix doughs and cakes etc. especially heavier doughs like oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough or carrot cake with walnut cookie dough! Rated 5 out of 5 by azanab from Love my new mixer I received over the new year. I use it several times a week and love it. Works wonderfully! All 5-speeds work as they should. The cord has a function that snaps right, left or in the center depending on where your plug in is. Seems to have a really strong motor and isn't a wimp. I have used it from low to high, with thin and thicker foods and works just as well for everything I have tried it with. I think this hand mixer will last me for years!

The large Kitchenaid I have had for many years was a little too large for me now, since I live alone this one is just right.
