I use it primarily for sauces and emulsifying various ingredients and have found it does the work quicker and more effectively than any previous immersion hand blenders I've used in the past. I would highly recommend it for commercial kitchens.

It has some of the best suction into the blades of any immersion blender I've used. After some months of heavy use the overheat shutoff becomes sensitive, and shuts the blender down shortly after you begin to use it. The blender heads also fail regularly. The shafts become loose, and can slip down and ream out the drive fitting in the blender body. All in all, a great blender when it's new and working
