Great tool but cleaning issues with the lid.We, my spouse and I love, love, love all our KitchenAid products. However, we are having difficulty cleaning the food processor work bowl "LID" handle. We chopped up 37 cups of zucchini with fabulous results. So fast and so easy. In cleaning, always by hand, we noticed that there was food behind the black handle of the 3-in-1 "lid". How can we clean it??? There are no way to open this area.

horrible description for your partsI did a search for the correct lid to go on the processor KFP1642OB, and this is the one that came up, so I ordered it. Guess what, it does not fit. Now I need to return it, and the one I need is not available. And the processor is on closeout. So I guess that my $600 food processor is now useless, due to the safety rod having broke off the lid. Oh treat. And just when I thought I had found a good replacement for my 25 year old processor, that the lid recently cracked on. I guess Kitchenaid has issues with the durability of their lids.
