Rated 1 out of 5 by Dawnie from Julienne blade. Waste of time and money. The Julienne blade does not work well for a julienne cut. I purchased this whole set of blades plus the container to keep them in. I have use the other blades and been pleased. The Julienne is a huge disappointment. I am making a veggie slaw for a party. I'm going to have to use my mandolin.

Rated 1 out of 5 by flora from very strange results - not really julienne cut at all I get short, cut-off, stumps for carrots done this way. Ends up as looking more like VERY coarsely grated carrots rather than julienne cut vegetables. Also, incredibly large amount of carrots gets stuck in the top part (lid) of the mixer. I have used Magimix processors for years (live in Paris) and never had this problem with them. I purchased this because I have the artisan food mixer and the liquidiser and so fell in love with Kitchenaid, but this processor is not the same kind of quality... sorry folks..... wish I had not bought it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jolly173 from Julienne Disc not quite right I cut large carrots to the proper length to use with the middle pusher. Did not get the results I expected. Most of the carrots were in tiny pieces, not the length of the carrots.The disc is not close enough to the top and causes product to get pushed between the disc and top and not cut. Could not find a Kitchenaid video showing the proper way to get good results. Will keep trying.
