No to bulky, no to small, and with the ability to use different top buckets to use additional tolls it brings, its a no brainer. Someone with no experience as me, can use it with no difficulty. Although always safe to read the manual, it is easy to use from the get go.

I was open to purchase a new processor from many companies, and the quality, options, and price of this food processor fit our needs. My husband, who does not like "gadgets" uses it all the time and loves it. He makes us Chicken Salad at least once a week with the machine and other foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and I have used a couple of disks already and they give me what I am looking for. The only things Kitchen Aid got short is in the booklet which is not included, nor the recipes booklet which give ideas and also how to use the different parts. I am not a cook,I love cooking, so no I have to go try- error until I get what I need. But the easy to use food processor really saves a lot of time and let cut fingers.

I have six mouths to feed unless we have company, increasing the amount of servings required. I was gifted the KitchenAid Mixer a couple years back and just love its power and versatility. I chose the 11-cup processor with exact slicer. It comes with multiple blades enabling me to use it for mixing bread dough, which I love to do. But my triumphant challenge was Cole slaw. I have never made Cole slaw, something my mother-in-law did often. My husband and children wanted that to be my first experience with my new Processor. It turned out perfectly like my mother-in-law's. This Processor is now equal to my mixer, two KitchenAid products that my kitchen cannot be without. We just bought another farm for vacationing and I will be buying a KitchenAid Mixer and Processor for it as well. Thank you KitchenAid. Love, love my products!!

I've only ever had cheap, smaller food processors and didn't see the point of these big boys. I mean, I can just slice and grate by hand, right? They say time is money and this is proving itself worth the money I paid for it. My last food processor broke the first time I tried to grate cheese. This one can grate it's way through a couple pounds of cheese with ease.

Mostly used by us to make vegetable casseroles. Really slices nicely and quick to adjust the slice thickness. Grating as well. Other functions Re good.

I have also used it to slice veggies for stew. It is simple to operate and works better than any other food processor I have owned. I love the storage box for all the blades.
