Rated 4 out of 5 by Opinion02122 from Love it, but.... The food chopper is great for cutting up meat that I use to top my fussy dog's food each night. It helps to insure that he gas healthy fresh meat in his diet. BUT, shortly after buying it, the top fell off the counter a partially broke. I also wanted to buy extra cups so I could run it through the dishwasher. I don’t use the dishwasher every night, so the extra cups would be very useful AND I would have one, or more, caps to replace the damaged one. Unfortunately I don’t see any here! It seems to me that replacement cups and tops should be readily available and I’m disappointed that they aren’t here. So, minus one star, though I’m tempted to lower that rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tintcutter from A Good Machine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the white version and find it very useful and powerful enough to use that nut food group that opens up so much cooking flavor. Also useful for oil based emulsions, not just aioli though its useful for that alone. I still find deep cleaning a challenge but only the lid on this one. Why the industry as a whole cannot understand cleaning is beyond me. Also the cutesy safety locks are hidden, not hard but wonky twist and turn and press motions. There are sign language icons that could have helped but I do not even recall any arrows. Still, not hard to figure out and good quality is obvious.

I specifically researched for a small food chopper that did not have the blade mechanism attached to the cup because my old Ninja one started cracking around where the blade was attached to the cup. That scared me because I could just imagine it breaking while using it and either the plastic flying off and cutting me or even worse the blade. I did an AI search for the best small food chopper and the Kitchen Aid was the number 1 choice and the blade mechanism is in the body of the chopper. I have been using it and I am more than satisfied with my purchase! I highly recommed this Kintchen Aid mini chopper!

I have all the tools a well equipped kitchen should have including a large food processor; fine for bigger jobs but I needed something better sized for everyday meals for the two of us. The 3.5 cup food chopper is perfect. Easy to use, sharp blade, sweet slide control from Chop to Puree and pulse or steady on. Smart looking pistachio color and small footprint with a wraparound cord. Handsome enough to sit on the countertop between uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids got me this for Christmas because I make salsa all the time and all I had was a knife to make it before. This makes my life SO much easier! I've also made tarter sauce and banana ice cream in it so far. I don't have a lot of counter space and the size of this isn't too big or too small. It is SO much easier to use than the bigger one I had years ago that kept chipping and breaking. The top slides on and off very easily and I definitely don't feel like it's going to break anytime soon. I truly LOVE THIS! This is my first Kitchen aid appliance and now I'm looking forward to adding another!

Rated 5 out of 5 by LA cooking from Really great! Just bought this mini food processor and I've used it several times. Does a fantastic job. Very powerful little motor. Only 3 parts to clean. I read several reviews from many sites about this before I bought it. Don't know what people were talking about when they said the top was hard to remove. It's so easy to take on and off. There is a click that lets you know it's in place. Same thing with the container there is a click. Both top and bottom turn counter clockwise to take off and clockwise to put on. Super easy. Love that the cord wraps around the bottom for easy out of the way storage. Great product!

Now coming to the features, Its so easy to use with chop & puree setting & I have chopped nuts, parmesan cheese, all kind of veggies. The puree setting is good for making sauces & pastes. I use lot of garlic & ginger in my cooking & this chopper helps me in chopping it finely everyday. Also I have also kneaded 1 cup of flour in it & I was amazed how soft it the dough was. The Best part if its dishwasher safe along with the blade & I dont have to worry about washing it :-) KItchen Aid appliances always exceeds the expectation.

This product is compact, stylish, and most importantly, it works so well. It chops, grinds, and blends efficiently and evenly, and in record time. It is just a bit bigger than my previous food chopper (not a KitchenAid), and that makes all the difference in the world. It is so much more reliable and effective. This food chopper is easy to clean. It is pretty enough for counter top storage.(I love the pistachio color). I am buying one for my niece, a perfect gift.

The instructions on how to open the cup where not as clear as they should have been. Afraid to break the clear plastic attached to the black, only after 15 mins did I realize it was one solid piece, I was able to open it. Pleased with the cup size, I was able to place a substantial amount inside. The pieces were smaller than I would have liked, but were still usable. Cleaning was easy and finding a nook to store it was simple due to its compact design.

I have purchased kitchen aid products for years and have never been disappointed pointed. I bought this to replace an older model that the switch was being tempermental(many many uses and years old). I find it very hard to get the tops on exactly right so the machine turns on, especially when I am in the middle of something-most recently while making pesto. I had to stop put it in fridge and hope that I could get it to work after a break.
