My beautiful red Kitchen Aid coffee maker --- loved through multiple military moves from Wash DC, to Wash State, NC, SC --- now finally into civilian life. And yesterday the Carafe broke !!! My family and I absolutely love "Mom's Red Coffee Maker" that has been part of our home for the past few years. Why can't I find a replacement Carafe ??? (Even better, a good solid metal one?) Like others here, the spout broke completely off (always hand-washed) --- we used it anyways (carefully); then when washing it, the entire front of the glass broke off into my hands. Very sad tonight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by calichic1184 from Option for broken carafe--- still great coffee pot Coffee pot was excellent until the carafe shattered and I realized there is no way to order. I bought another coffee pot with a 12 cup carafe and just to see if it would work, I brewed a pot with the old machine (that uses the 14 cup carafe). To my surprise it worked fine. Carafe was a little snug due to it being a slightly different design but it was fine. Just filled the water to only 12 cups to brew. It only brewed 10 cups so filling the water to 14 cups would have probably been fine. Bottom line is buy a 12 cup carafe if you need a solution. It worked fine for me.

Perfect product until my daughter broke the carafe in the sink. It is now useless because I am unable to find a replacement at a reasonable cost. Are there other carafes I could purchase that would work, size wise?

I bought this coffee maker over 3 years ago. It's been super reliable. I mean to say, we really use this thing. For coffee, tea, etc. sometimes 4 times a day. See picture, it is kinda beat up. Never had any issues. Makes great coffee, no spills, and easy to clean. Now the carafe has been broken. Nothing faulty: I spun around too fast holding it and ran into my counter. Now I am trying to find a replacement carafe and they are "Out of Stock". . Are there other KA replacement carafe that might fit?

However, my wife accidently broke the carafe while cleaning it, even though she was being quite careful while doing so. We have been trying to buy a replacement carafe but have been having no luck. Help!
