Rated 5 out of 5 by Bubz from Another great Kitchen Aid product I ordered this unit as a replacement for my older Kitchen Aid Coffee machine that failed after 9 years of use. I am a big coffe drinker so already I have run it through it's paces and really like the machines design. I have the Onyx Black one, It has some brushed silver steel parts and the rest is heavy duty black plastic. The water tank is translucent, the rest opaque. It is sturdy and well made, as most of the Kitchen Aid products are. I first cleaned all removable parts in hot soapy water and dried everything thoroughly, removed the filter from the holder in the water tank and reassembled. Then I brewed a full tank of cold tap water mixed with white vinegar to clean all internal parts that I couldn't reach otherwise. I followed this with 3 more clean water rinses prior to making my first jug of coffee. This machine is very easy to use, although the filling of the filter paper would be made easier if it swung open to the right (as I am not left handed), add coffee, water and push one button and you are away. It really does make a great cup of Joe, it is versatile and is a good looking well made appliance. I'm very happy with this coffee machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz L from Wonderful maker This is a wonderful maker. The coffee brews in about 10 minutes and stays warm for 2 hours. The only draw back I found is that there is no additional warm button to turn the coffee back on after the 2 hour period unless you brew the coffee again, Maybe in the next upgrade!
