Rated 4 out of 5 by Jwarne from Love it. I’ve been using the same hand mixer for 20 years. I tell myself to get a new one every year. Now all the blades are thin wires instead of flat metal, which I’m having a love/hate relationship with. Easier to get food off of them but I’m not sure how it will stand up to thick batters. I miss having the cord stored inside the machine. Now it’s loose in the cabinet. Those are my negatives. I love the 7 power options, the ease of turning it on and the blades locking in securely.

We are both senior citizens and my husband has Celiac Disease so we have to do a lot of cooking/baking at home. A good mixer is crucial for us. We decided to buy another KitchenAid and selected a portable mixer for convenience and so far it has proven itself worthy. I do miss being able to throw things in the bowl, turn it on, and walk away but it's getting the job done well!!

The only issue I had with the old one was that the first speed was kinda fast, so it would spatter. This mixer starts off nice and slow, which is nice. But, I think if you needed a fast speed, like for whipping egg whites, it might take a long time, as the highest speed isn't as fast as my old one. However, I would most likely use my stand mixer for that anyway. For my purposes, I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JanPan from Seems very durable, nice design and color, many speeds. I have been looking for a stainless steel hand mixer,as I prefer a hand mixer. The grey color is a nice substitute. It works well and the blades & attachment go in and out easilyl It is not too noisy. It works well for my purposes; mainly mashed potatoes and cake mixes. The attachment, a whisk, which I have not used yet, will be handy too.

This hand-mixer has all the power I need for serious cooking and baking without any hesitation or stress on the motor, and the compact size is perfect for my limited storage space.

The speed control on this mixer is great. It starts off slow and gradually gets faster. Nice design and great value for the price.

All the features you want and it goes where you want it to without eating up counter or cabinet space. And the handy French whisk attachment is new for me. It is amazing.
