Hydration habits matter in everyday life

Staying hydrated is important, but it can be hard to keep up with your water intake when your days are packed with activities, deadlines and other obligations. It can be easy to forget to refill your water bottle throughout the day and it doesn’t always cross your mind to pause, take a sip, and stay hydrated. Some AI kitchen appliances features, like Intelligent Auto Fill on select KitchenAid^® Refrigerators, can help you fill your cup, water bottle or other drinking vessel hands-free.

Meet Intelligent Auto Fill technology

KitchenAid^® Refrigerators with Intelligent Auto Fill let you set your cup down and have it filled correctly, hands-free. AI intelligently senses when your cup is within the dispenser, your glass is off-center and can even detect when a hand pulls your cup away, ensuring a splash-proof, “set and forget” water-filling experience.

The KitchenAid x Corkcicle partnership

KitchenAid x Corkcicle teamed up to help with the only break you get in the day: the water bottle refill. The MindFULLness Fridge is a limited run of never-before-seen refrigerators powered by Intelligent Auto Fill that enhance your mindfulness the moment you place your Corkcicle under the dispenser. As your water bottle fills hands-free, take a moment to reset with an immersive sensorial experience featuring guided animations, breath-synced lighting and cadenced chimes that invites you to find a pause in every pour.

How does an Intelligent Auto Fill refrigerator work?

Intelligent Auto Fill from KitchenAid, the innovation behind The MindFULLness Fridge, enables moments of mindfulness by taking the awkward angles, spills and tedious wait out of refilling your water bottle. From small glasses to 40 oz water bottles, you're able to set cups down and have them filled correctly, hands-free, thanks to the extra-tall dispenser and AI intelligently sensing when your cup is within the dispenser, if it's off center and even when your hand pulls it away.

Extra-Tall Exterior Water Dispenser

The Extra-Tall Exterior Water Dispenser has been completely redesigned to match the way you cook, allowing you to easily fill a variety of kitchen staples hands-free—from small coffee cups to extra-tall water bottles, pots, pans, vases and more. The Intelligent Auto Fill AI-enabled dispenser fits bottles up to 10.5-inches, is designed to eliminate awkwardly angling bottles, and features an extendable base to fit wider vessels like pots and pans.

Smart Align Technology

Smart Align Technology detects the placement of cups and containers with sensors that can tell when your cup is off-center in the well, allowing you to adjust your cup. Plus, sensors know when an object other than a cup has been placed in the well to prevent accidental dispensing, splashes and messes.

Splash-Proof Dispense

Splash-Proof Dispense provides a steady stream that helps prevent spills and splashback, even when filling shorter or shallower cups that are at least 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide.

Auto Stop

Auto Stop uses sensors to automatically stop dispensing when cups are removed from the water well to help prevent spills and messes.
