Discover the microwave that does more. KitchenAid® Countertop Convection Microwaves go beyond reheating and defrosting to air fry, bake, roast and grill. Designed to stand alone on your countertop, this microwave can also be paired with a trim kit (sold separately) for a custom built-in look.

Air Fry Mode

uses dual heating elements and a fan to circulate hot air around the included air fry basket, crisping and browning food with less oil* and no need to preheat. *When compared to deep frying.

Oven Functions

for Bake and Roast use dual heating elements to reach temperatures up to 425°F, turning this microwave into an oven for everything from small-batch bakes to a whole roast chicken.

1400-Watt Convection Element

circulates heat throughout the oven cavity to allow convection baking at temperatures up to 425°F.

Roast Mode

helps maintain the balanced heat distribution required for exceptional roasting by alternating traditional microwave cooking with convection cooking to surround food with heat.

Grill Mode

uses the included basket and a 1300-watt grill element in the top of the microwave to sear, broil and more.

1.5 Cu. Ft. Capacity

comfortably fits a variety of dishes from bowls to a 9" x 9" casserole dish.

Auto Functions

Timed Defrost

allows intuitive operation by automatically setting the microwave's power level at 20% for precisely the amount of time you select.

Built-In Look with Trim Kit (sold separately)

integrates seamlessly with your kitchen for a custom look within a standard cutout. Available in 27" (MTK1527PZ for KMCS522SPS) and 30" (MTK1530PZ for KMCS522SPS) widths, trim kits (sold separately) allow this microwave to fit beautifully above a single wall oven or on its own.
