I have submitted all needed info after Support responded to first review (Order number, model, etc...) to multiple support entry (on Instagram, Facebook, Chart) but nothing changed, KitchenAid company does not want to replace defective unit! One week ago Service company informed me that unit need sump motor replaced. On today call they informed me that back order taking some time and they do not know when this motor would be delivered. So, 3 weeks after new but defective KitchenAid dishwasher I bought on KitchenAid.com was delivered to me, I still do not have working unit and do not know when it would be fixed or (hopefully) replaced

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dee84 from Love this dishwasher! This is our 1st KitchenAid dishwasher (we've always purchased Bosch in the past) and we purchased it based on its great reviews and features. And those reviews were absolutely correct! I love the 90 minute 'normal' cycle, love the 3rd pull-out shelf, and how the door pops open when the cycle is complete. And, the cycles are very quiet. Our kitchen is open to our living room, and even when the dishwasher is running, we can hear the tv and each other very well. I highly recommend this KitchenAid dishwasher!

It has 2 annoying parts: the door pops open when the cycle is done and lights stays on (my concern is the lifecycle of that light) and the bottom rack has weird separation in the middle which missing a vertical teeth to hold plates in between. I assume that was designed for large pots and pans but then it will stop the water jets from bottom to top? maybe?

No food has ever been left on the dishes even when they have not been rinsed well before putting in dishwasher. The dishwasher also dries very well. Even plastic dishes come out dry. I like the pop open door feature at the end of cycle as it helps with the drying process. This dishwasher is also super quiet. The only minor thing I don’t love is the red part under the top shelf as it gets in the way of second shelf. You have to make sure you put the right size dishes under it. Overall, love this dishwasher!

The preset cycles work extremely well and the normal drying cycle is great with the door opening at the end to circulate air and cool is a great feature. With all of the jets it has, it cleans everything very well throughout the entire dishwasher while keeping the noise level very low. Because of the high capacity, the cycle time and the cleaning capabilities, this proves to be a highly efficient dishwasher

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheodoreJeeves from KitchenAid KDTS464SPS Got this KitchenAid Dishwasher about a week ago at Costco to replace a 10-year-old GE that was falling apart. Decided to go with a higher end model this time around and I'm glad I did. This model has the ProDry Max drying feature which fans warm air and pops the door open at the end. Just like our autoclave at work! I was happy to see this feature is now available on dishwashers. The ProWash cycle with ProDry Max does take a long time to run, 3 hours and 49 minutes! While it was running it didn't make a lot of noise, so I opened the dishwasher mid-cycle to see what was going on. It was all steamy in there! I think the reason for the long cycle is to give the steam time to penetrate and break down the caked-on food. The dishwasher does a great job cleaning off caked-on food, so there is no need to pre-scrub the dishes and pots like before. I wonder if some of the less positive reviews on here are related to this particular cycle time. There is also a more traditional 90 minute Normal cycle, and a 70 minute Express cycle. These cycles are more like what you get in regular dishwashers that don’t have the upgraded ProWash cycle with ProDry Max. The ProWash cycle with ProDry Max is going to give you cleaner, dryer dishes when you need them the next morning. The filter at the base is self-cleaning, which is a great feature as the filter in our old GE would get very funky and was cumbersome to clean. With this KitchenAid all you have to do is check the small triangular grate at the bottom if any larger items get stuck in there. The dishwasher has a nice finish and looks great in our kitchen. On the sides and at the top there is a black strip that folds up against the inside of the space in the cabinet, making for a flush, clean fit. All in all, a well thought out appliance that has performed as expected.

The 3rd (top) row is a nice place to put smaller items that could slip through openings in lower racks. The unit runs quietly, but leaves everything very clean (and dry when it is set to do that). The door automatically opens a bit after a complete cycle finishes. This is a fantastic feature, as it releases heat and steam that would otherwise remain trapped inside. I would recommend this dishwasher!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kilho's wife Joo Ja from my neighbor said it looks nice. I love my KitchenAid. but when I use a lot of bowls for salad and soup, I find that bowls don't stack up well. I have to be a little smart how I put them all. I use express for washing because I rinse a little more than I need to and pro dry cycle. when 25 minutes or less left to finish, I usually cancel the cycle and leave the door ajar and everything is nicely cleaned and dried about 1 hour later.

This unit never worked properly. 3 times I attempted to use it and each time it errored in the middle. What is frustrating that KitchenAid support refuses to refund or replace it, even I have this faulty unit less than 15 days.
