Really like the new flat shelf and the tray for loose utensils. It’s more convenient the only thing we don’t like is the electronic controls which are confusing and caused us problems.

I used to have to scrap my dishes clean and make the water run hot for my previous dishwasher to work. This one does it all on its own! I only have one concern, the controls are very sensitive and activated just opening and closing the door. I finally realized it’s no big deal because the Power button doesn’t automatically engage.

I have always bought kitchenaid dishwashers during the 35 years of our marriage, for the quality, function and reliability of their products. This one, though, is a whole new beast. NEVER expected this. Everything absolutely sparkling, every single time. Baked on, dried on, grease, protein, it just doesn't matter. I cook daily, and this machine just cut my effort in half. The unit is so quiet I usually have to check if the lights are on to tell if it's running. I have never in my life been so happy with an appliance.

I never would put casserole dishes in before but now they come out sparkling. That said, the configuration of the racks does not let me load as many dishes and the top third rack is pretty much useless but I would definitely buy this machine again. I also love the “top rack” only wash feature and it’s so quiet you have to really listen to know it’s running.

They both get the dishes very clean and are very quiet. I highly recommend. They only thing with this one is it smells from time to time, but that may be more about the installation than the washer itself.
