For assisted cooking modes, auto presets and numerical power settings are simple to use. The seamless design is also easy to clean.

Additional Features

Pan Size Detection

Recognizes the size and placement of cookware to generate heat directly within the pan. An indicator light and sound will alert you if you turn the cooktop on without a pan on the selected element or if your pan is not compatible with induction cooking.

Control Lock

Disables cooking mode for easy cleaning when not in use.

Frameless Design

Allows flush installation for a seamless look or standard installation to fit an existing cooktop cutout.

Requires Induction-Compatible Cookware

Such as multi-ply stainless steel, enamelled steel or cast iron. Aluminum and copper cookware will not work unless it has a base made of iron or steel. Look for pans marked "Works with Induction" or test to see if a magnet will stick to the bottom.

That was the most horrible thing that my wife and I had ever tried to cook on, we kept it for about 10 months then installed the Kitchen Aid cooktop. We have really enjoyed it and our zkitchen Aid refrigerator

So far, I've made cherry jam, vegetables, meats & omelets. Everything has turned out beautifully and it's easy and intuitive to use. I'm used to an electric cooktop and it's not very different except for the consistency of heat and true temperatures. No boil overs, burning or other untoward issues. It's a snap to clean up as well. Couldn't be more pleased.

Love the flat top and that there is no risk of fire with an open flame or hot burner. The licking feature is awesome as it provides additional counter space when not in use. Just put a placemat over and you have additional space. Easy to clean.
