This rotor attachment fits nicely in the cabinet:) however I use it several times a week. I shred everything from cheeses to vegetables like carrots and zucchini!! Its my most used kitchen gadget. I've had mine for years and highly recommend this model due to its large opening for volume shredding and slicing:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marie B from Love it for grating cheese I have arthritis in my hands, and the main reason I wanted this set was to grate my own Romano and Parmesan cheese. Pre-packaged grated cheese has a lot of added fillers including Cellulose Powder (that's right - wood pulp). Now, I haven't used it for anything else but but to me it was worth every penny.

The kitchen cutter suctions to my counter tops but comes unattached half way through use, making it very difficult to use. This attachment works just as well as my kitchen cutter only better because the mixer is the weight and all of my kitchen cutter blades work with this attachment. This makes wonderful fresh cut shredded potatoes and cheese. I saw another review about cabbage. I have not tried it with this attachment but i know it worked well with the kitchen cutter so i cant imagine it being an issue. I use this on almost a daily basis. Since having this product, i have not used my food processor.
