Rated 5 out of 5 by Juliewoollie from Excellent attatchment Just arrived today couldn't wait. A bit of crazy fun to start off. My pasta dough started out too soft (my usual recipe). Once I added more flour it was all on. Amazing results, very clever machine. I didn't even mind the clean up of picking out the dough from the disc's, allowed me time to sit down with a cuppa. Fabulous, thanks designers.

I do wish the instructions were a little more detailed, but I was able to find YouTube videos that helped. It is true that you have to be careful not to overheat the attachment or the mixer. So, to make the entire recipe that’s given in the instructions at one time may be asking too much of the mixer. It needs to rest and cool off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great SUPER time saver for homemade, healthy ingredients of 6 different kinds of fresh pasta. I make my own 3 ingredient semolina dough in my bread machine .Let it rest, roll what I’m going to use into long 3/8” thick 15” long tubes to wind up and directly feed into the Kitchen Aid Gourmet Pasta Maker. I can make 2 servings or 8 servings. I roll what I’m not going to use, divide into portioned balls wrapped in plastic into a freezer container to store until I’m going to make fresh pasta again. Thank you Kitchenaid for making such a wonderful accessory for my 2003 6qt bowl lift mixer with 525 watts of power to handle this job. A must have for any kitchen!! Just wish you would teach customers the time saving “snake” method of feeding the dough into the Gourmet Pasta accessory🥰

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suzine from Perfect pasta! I got this as a gift from my kids. I immediately used it with my own buckwheat pasta dough. I've had and hated other pasta extruders, but this one is fabulous. It's slow but steady, worked without overheating for about 40 minutes on very hard dough ( the machine won't tolerate soft or damp pasta dough) Easy to figure out, beautiful results. It isn't perfect - the fusilli needs twisting, spaghetti takes less time on an Atlas crank roller attachment. Cleaning is difficult. Still - bucatini! macaroni! fusilli! I'm in pasta heaven.

The pasta tastes so good! The best macaroni I have had in a long time. I dried some in the dehydrator and used it later. It ws great.
