Finding your KitchenAid® stand mixer starts with the way you like to make. Whether you prefer the classic feel of a tilt-head or the sturdy design of a bowl-lift, each style is made to help you mix, knead and create with ease.
Tilt-head stand mixers
Tilt-head stand mixers have a head that tilts back so you can easily attach the bowl to the base and swap out accessories as needed. Then, tilt it forward again and lock it into place ready to use.
When it’s time to add ingredients, simply release the head with a lever and tilt it back again for clear access to the bowl.
Bowl-lift stand mixers
Bowl-lift stand mixers have a broader base and the head doesn't move. The bowl attaches to two arms that are raised and lowered with a lever.
Accessories can be switched or ingredients added while the bowl is lowered. The powerful motor and sturdy design provide the stability needed to help you create recipes from heavier mixtures.

All the accessories you'll need
It's exciting to unbox your new stand mixer. Inside, you'll find included accessories to help with all sorts of tasks.
You'll be equipped with the included mixing bowl, wire whisk, dough hook and flat beater (the paddle accessory). Some models like the Artisan Plus stand mixer, also come with our double flex edge beater which reduces the need to scrape the bowl (compared to the single flex edge beater). Or the pastry beater, which takes the hassle out of flaky pastry. These can all easily be changed with a simple twist-lock motion and allow you to do everything from batter to meringue.
