KitchenAid® Artisan® Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer: How to Clean
Cleaning your Artisan® Series tilt-head stand mixer is easy. Place the bowl into the dishwasher to clean. The coated and stainless steel tools and accessories are top-rack dishwasher safe, but the wire whip and uncoated tools and accessories should be hand-washed only. Don’t forget to gently wipe down the tilt-head stand mixer, too.

CLEANING YOUR MIXER
Cleaning your stand mixer is easy. Coated and stainless steel tools and pouring shield can go in the top rack of dishwasher. The bowl can go in the top or bottom rack. Wire whip and uncoated tools should be washed by hand only. Alternatively, the bowl and tools can be hand-washed in hot, soapy water. Dry all tools thoroughly. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down your mixer. Be sure to clean the beater shaft, too.
