Allows for two independent temperature zones to chill beverages, hors d'oeuvres and wine bottles in their optimal climate. The top zone adjusts temperature from 33-40°F, while the lower zone can be adjusted from 42-64°F.

4.8 cu. ft. capacity with 14 wine bottle capacity

Over-Temp Alarm

automatically alerts you if the temperature isn’t safe for cold storage. Sensors trigger the alarm if the refrigerator temperature rises above 45°F
(7°C) for more than 4 hours. The alarm shuts off once temperatures return to normal.

Door Alarm

automatically alerts you when the door has been left open before items inside rise above their ideal temperature. The alarm sounds after fives minutes and goes off every two minutes until the door has been closed or the controls have been pressed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sjm239 from Defective Unit: Door out of alignment and no way to adjust One week old and the door is so badly out of alignment with the case, the unit does not seal and there is no way to adjust. Customer service sent a technician who tried to bend the hinges with a wrench and gave up. He has ordered a door and no telling when it will come in or actually solve the problem since it is mismounted to the case. I've wasted so much time on hold and customer service is terrible and told me there is no way to get it replaced. I wish I hadn't spent more than $10k on kitchenaid appliances for my remodel and will work with the company I purchased them from to return all if not resolved quickly.

It's rather expensive though offers true dual zones and is relatively attractive and importantly quiet. Nicely designed with a slightly recessed beverage shelf so one can easily store higher, open bottles. Paired with a counter depth refrigerator, this really offloads a lot of the unnecessary items from the main refrigerator offering more space and convenience. It has a wide array of adjustments too. The only downsides encountered so far are the door adjustment seems a bit off and the door can easily remain ajar when closing. Also the wine racks are a bit small for many reds/champagnes (not unusual)

I had to find something that was cabinet ready plus offered two zone cooling and this model seemed perfect. It looks great with the cabinet front. The door is very solid and has a high quality feel when opening and closing. I agree that the bottom of the refrigerator may not be warmer than the top zone, but it has other great features. The alarm that lets you know the door is open has already worked for us on two occasions. There is adequate room for lots of drinks above and a few bottles of wine below. Not all sizes will fit but so far most of ours have. I'm glad we bought this model and did't le the online reviews sway us.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Evelyn from Should really be marketed as a single, not dual, temperature The beverage center part cools well. although it is not ideal as some beer bottles don't fit standing up white wine bottles also don't fit standing up which is a problem to keeping open bottles while drinking. that was the main reason to get the beverage center/wine rack combo. My idea was to keep white wine in the beverage compartment along with beer and reds in the bottom wine racks. I don't drink too many white wines. The wine area keeps too cool even when I select the highest temperature for the top portion. It just keeps red wine too cool even when I select "red wine". The light features are cool and the motion sensor is a plus. And I love that it matches the rest of my ktichenaid appliance suite. So I'd keep it solely for the looks lol.

We are able to keep some valuable real estate in our refrigerator by putting beverages in the beverage center. For a family of five, this is HUGE! Not to mention, it looks pretty cool and fancy in our kitchen!

It has a section down below for wine at a different temperature. Above is a totally different temperature for water, beer, etc. We use us every day and stock it well for get togethers.

The only negative is there is no provision to rack wives in the upper area of the refrigerator....and I have been unable to set the upper portion to 47-48 degrees for my white wines.....yet,

Rated 2 out of 5 by James from Nice beverage center but not very flexible I purchased this unit to fit inside a kitchen island. The unit looks great with the stainless steel and glass front. It runs very quiet and has ample capacity. My issue is that it will not accommodate a typical height bottle and must be laid down. The shelves are not adjustable. My resolution is to remove one of the shelves which is loosing overall capacity. I would not recommend this unit and would suggest looking at other beverage centers that are more flexible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fran66 from Poor design and quality We have 2 beverage centers. One broke down after 1 year after we moved in our new townhouse Was under warranty and was replaced. The 2D was repaired today. The electronic panel had to be replaced. We had switched it off and wouldn’t go back on when pressing on the cool on control. Cool off control was lighted. Power was fine. Panel had to be replaced. Technician after dismounting the part couldn’t see why the electronic panel didn’t respond. Very disappointed with this appliance and the design is not very practical. Shelves aren’t adjustable so you are only limited to some sizes of beverages and bottles. All our kitchen appliances are KitchenAid and we had minor repairs to do like changing the refrigerator seal, screws coming off our double oven… the brand is not the same quality as it used to be. Very disappointed.
