ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System
Separately monitors the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer through a sensor located in each, to help ensure fresh fruit juices don't become frozen and prawns avoid freezer burn.
Interior Water Dispenser
provides easy access to filtered water inside the refrigerator
Produce Preserver
Absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.

A Terrific Workhorse!!
This is my second refrigerator in 18 years and the second one of this same model I purchased. I have loved this refrigerator We're so glad they still make it, so I was able to exactly replace it. My old one for the record, still worked, but was just looking a little beat up. 18 years three kids, many many many parties Always plenty of room plenty of ice plenty of cold water filtered This refrigerator has tons of space and then some! We love the newer, sleek design, and are enjoying all of the features We have enjoyed previously. We even built our new kitchen around this refrigerator. It is not counter depth, but worth every inch!!!

Terrific design

Lots of Space. Great Refrigerator and Freezer
We've had our refrigerator installed less than a year. A couple of months ago, our refrigerator was leaking from the back. It was a tubing. We scheduled service with an authorized dealer, but it took weeks before it was serviced. It was a simple plastic line replacement, which was done in less than 30 minutes when the part arrived. Everything works fine! We love having the ice maker within the freezer, which is what we searched for in models. The chances of having mildew growing within and about an outdoor water/ice dispenser is no longer a problem.

So far we are happy with our new frig. After a lot of research and learning a lot about refrigerators, we decided on this one. We had a Whirlpool before this, which it was okay but the ice maker broke (soon after we got it) and the ice box was on the door so the ice always melted in the bottom of container. We had that frig for 11 years which I guess is about average.
Why we chose this one. Well first off the simplicity of the frig. There is nothing on the exterior door. The water dispenser is inside the frig and the ice maker is in the freezer....where it belongs.
The water is always cold and tastes great.
The ice is never melted, and always a steady supply. We got a nice little scoop to use to get the ice out.
There seems to be enough room to put all the groceries in, we are a family of 4. We do have a small drink frig in our garage.
The doors seem to seal well and it's pretty quiet. Occasionally when it drops ice I can hear it but my old frig made the same noise.
We have only had this for a short time but hope that we get longevity out of it. Next purchase is the stove...I want handles to match and its time for a replacement.

Love my KitchenAid Refrigerator
I love this refrigerator! The adjustable shelves are very handy for making larger or smaller spaces. I love that the filtered water is not in the front of the door, It is easy to use inside the refrigerator and the filter is easy to replace.

I love this refrigerator! It is roomy, has wide door pockets that are actually useable, and plenty of drawers to keep fruits and veggies. Plus it has a convenient water dispenser! The freezer is roomy as well. You can’t go wrong with this unit!

Love it but...
We love our new KitchenAid refrigerator however there seems to be an issues with the freezer door. When we pull to open it from the middle and right side of the handle, it's fine. When we pull from the left side of the handle, it doesn't work smoothly. We reached out to the place where we bought it and were told there was nothing they could do. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

Amazing.
I exceeded my budget to purchase this product and it is worth every extra penny. Love the wine rack, deli compartment, and interior water dispenser a nd adjusting the shelves and door compartments is exceptionally easy. The pull out freezer drawer with multiple compartments and interior drawers is very functional. Buy it!

Looks great and works great!
Our previous refrigerator of 20 years died, and when I heard we could get a KitchenAid, I was thrilled. All my KitchenAid appliances continue to perform well. This refrigerator gives me more space in the existing footprint, provides easy access and viewing of food contents, and keeps my food at a perfect temperature. I couldn't be happier!

Love it!
This is my third one and I am so pleased. Looked at many refrigerators and I didn’t like all the bells and whistles. We did purchase another refrig and I sent it back. Have been extremely happy with kitchen. There’s plenty of room for my family and if not I have another kitchen aid in the basement for the overflow.

Roomy, convenient, bright
Very pleased! French doors and bright interior lighting allow view of everything. Especially like the shelf where front half slides back underneath to accommodate the occasional tall item. Wide shallow bottom drawer is perfect for meats and cheeses or a platter. Made the change from in-the-door ice/water to interior ice/water and like the uncluttered exterior look. Scooping ice is actually faster than waiting for it to grind out. Interior water dispenser also fills a glass faster. Keeping the exterior door dispenser clean was also annoying. Drawer freezer displays contents; nothing hidden in the back and forgotten. Unit fits in the same space as the old side-by-side but seems to have more interior room. Achieved cooling/freezing temperatures quickly. Like the digital temperature display and filter replacement light.

Love this brand!
I am very happy that I have another kitchen Aid refrigerator. However, this model is different from a second one I have in another house: this one requires two hands to get filtered water (one to hold the glass and the other to press the bottom). Also, the ice bucket did not come with a scoop which is another down feature. Other than that, I am happy and hope it does last longer than other brands.

Love our new Kitchen Fridge
This is my first Kitchen Aide fridge and I am simply loving it. It's spacious, well organized. I love the hidden water dispenser on the inside vs having it outside the door because it doesn't comprise internal space. Freezer has ample space for our needs. Best part is, you don't have to break the bank.

Love, Love, Love This Fridge
I just updated my kitchen and purchased a whole line of KitchenAid appliances. I love these appliances. When doing research on appliances in order to make an informed choice I was a bit confused by all the mixed reviews. I wish someone would have simply listed pros and cons of features so that's what I'm going to do. Pros: Extremely roomy, one shelf that slides out, a half shelf that can be tucked underneath itself for taller items, huge roomy bins at the bottom, doors hold a lot of things, love the french doors, can open either door or both which takes up less room in the kitchen when open, mine has an icemaker (since this model was discontinued) which is also nice, but I would have preferred the icemaker in the freezer compartment like this one since I have two big freezers downstairs and could have used the extra space in the fridge compartment, fairly quiet and really good lighting. Cons: after closing an open door it makes a quiet little noise like a motor starting kinda sounds like a cat purr (just weird), when door is full of things it can swing open pretty hard if you don't keep a hold of the door. Overall I absolutely love the room and overall look of the fridge.

We purchased this refrigerator in March 2020. One of the best functioning refrigerators we have ever had. I am somewhat reluctant to review a new product as it is very important to us to have a repair free appliance for more than just a few years but so far so good! Love the handles.
