This 72-inch tall panel-ready counter depth refrigerator is three inches taller than a standard counter-depth refrigerator, adding to its integrated appeal. A pull-out bottom-mount freezer drawer allows you to organize frozen items on three levels. The ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System maintains optimal temperatures for fresh and frozen food and the Interior Water Dispenser provides easy access to filtered water. This model comes with the option of stainless steel, black stainless steel or a panel-ready design, allowing this counter-depth French door refrigerator to be customized with your kitchen's surrounding cabinets.

ExtendFresh™ Temperature Management System

Separately monitors the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer through a sensor located in each, to help ensure fresh fruit juices don't become frozen and prawns avoid freezer burn.

Interior Water Dispenser

provides easy access to filtered water and is conveniently located for one-hand operation.

Produce Preserver

Absorbs ethylene gas emitted by many fruits and vegetables, causing them to over ripen. By removing ethylene, the produce preserver helps extend freshness.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Spartan from Rusting within the first 5 months We bought this model in Jan 2018. By June of 2018, I noticed some rust on the top of the freezer door and some on the front door. I called Kitchenaid and after waiting 45 minutes, was told that this is most likely cosmetic and not covered. If I want someone to come take a look and see if it is covered under warranty, I will get charged $120 if it is determined that the damage is cosmetic. I am afraid the appliance will only start rusting more the longer I own it. I am also having issues with the door handle coming loose. I need to keep tightening it every few weeks. We are small family and the kitchen sees very light use.

They have all been very dependable and trouble-free so far. My only complaint is with your Customer Service. I had requested for a Warranty Service exemption in my email last 8/20/20, to apply for Extended Warranty under the in-warrant terms, in view of the pandemic restrictions. I was never bothered with a reply whatsoever. Also, you have a weak bezel in your cold compartment, which I had requested a repair, and I got a brand new replacement component, which has not yet been mounted because no service man has visited.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jim- from Defective Design - AVOID We had our kitchen remodeled last year. We bought this refrigerator and had problems with it inside the first two months. The flap on the left side door that adjoins the French doors comes off the hinge. I called KA, they fixed. It happened again and I insisted they replace the entire left side door. Hoping maybe it was a defective door. It was good for 6 months or so, now it has started to happen again. I watched the repair man fix the issue - so now I know how to take the screw off and reinsert the holding mechanism on the top side. completely unacceptable - I have asked a few friends that have the same design - and they also have had problems with the "flap".

But our history with KitchenAid appliances has been overall positive which gave us good feeling about purchasing a second KitchenAid refrigerator. Our first model is 14 years old and continues to be outstanding. It is now in our garage as our overflow unit. We have not experienced any of the problems other reviews have mentioned. We love the lower freezer and the wide fresh area on top. We have more bulk area with the shelves than our larger side by side it replaces in the kitchen. It is very quiet and the ice production is great. So far so good. Thanks for another good product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Almostsatisfied from Using supply chain delays to negate rebates I purchased the refrigerator in October and failed to fill out my rebate form until it was delivered six months late in March. Turns out I was supposed to fill out the rebate by end of January but I did not have the serial number because I did not yet have the product. Third round of Kitchenaid appliances we’ve bought in ten years as the products are great. Company using COVID as an excuse for bad policy and customer service to keep the $300 rebate they were marketing on $15k worth of appliances I purchased. That is terrible customer service. And your rep on the phone couldn’t have been more rude.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrFixer from Door seals and NOT fixed by calling KitchenAid I've had this fridge in a 2 person adult home since September 2016. The unit has door seals that have failed. How is this possible KitchenAid? I looked at the other reviews that say to call their 800 number and was told that KitchenAid will not stand behind this failure. Just in case you are reading this and thinking that KitchenAid is doing something for it's customer with this problem......they ARE NOT! Luckily I purchased an extended warranty but I shouldn't need this for something that I see as a design flaw rather than a fluke failure. Just know that if you buy this unit that you will be putting $300+ in seals every ~2-3 years to keep it running correctly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by huh? from Refrigerator Not a lot of room in this refrigerator but purchased it because it fit in our space. We really like the inside water feature and the ice maker is very nice. Our only concern is for the freezer door. Unless you pull it open from the exact center it comes out at an angle and seems loose. It straightens when the door is shut but I'm worried that if we're not careful the door will eventually break. The sample in the store had a broken freezer door but the sales person said that was from so many people yanking the door open. It just seems to me the freezer door isn't very well made. I don't think this refrigerator is worth $4,000. I doubt you'll post this but hope you find it useful.

There is a good three to four inches between the shelf and the back of the fridge. You could have at least put something at the back of the shelf to stop items from falling down the back. Everything else is fantastic. You would have had a perfect fridge if not for the shelves

Rated 2 out of 5 by MelJoy2075 from Keeps food cold but.... I expected more from Kitchen Aid at this price point! It keeps food cold as it should. But the "craftsmanship" is sub par. Extra foam was oozing out of crevices. I had to have a repairman come out to tighten up the loose handles. Messy remnants of glue are on the rubber gaskets areas that will never come off.Even the information label is on crooked. Looks like someone just really didn't care at all. I would return it in a heartbeat if it weren't such a hassle. Just not what I was expecting from a $2000+ refrigerator from a revered name like Kitchen Aid. Next house we build...no Kitchen Aid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lainey1 from Roomier than I expected! I was worried that the counter depth refrigerator would not be large enough for my family, but that hasn't been a problem. It holds a lot more than our previous full-depth side by side, and everything is easier to see and reach. I like that the door shelves have removable liners that can be washed. One negative - I have to open both doors to access the deli center, but I prefer that to separate drawers - the deli center holds a lot, and having it the width of the refrigerator gives me more flexible storage to hold wide trays. Also, it's very quiet, which is important because our kitchen is open to our family room. It looks great in my remodeled kitchen, even though we had to re-use our existing oven due to budget restraints.
