Ice Filter F2WC9I1This everydrop® Ice Filter is used in 50 LB. Ice Makers. This NSF certified filter reduces chlorine taste and odor and scale build up. Replace every 2,000 gallons (7571 liters) or 9 months to ensure clean safe drinking water. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users water.

CLEAR ICE!!

For my model, a filter is actually optional, so one might be tempted not to spend the money on one, but the ice is completely clear & tasteless!! Worth every cent! In the past I didn't realize there was a recommended KitchenAid filter, so I ordered a random brand from a popular website. It cost less, but did not fit, even though guaranteed to fit by the seller. After many attempts to resolve the issue with them, I realized I was duped into buying a look-alike. I now only order from you for authorized KitchenAid/Whirlpool products. The filter pops right in, and makes a significant difference in the quality of the ice.
