Best upgrade so far
I purchased this cooktop a couple of months ago as a very much needed kitchen upgrade. The previous cooktop was over 40 years old and still working. But, it was time for an upgrade. 36” downdraft cooktop
I just completed my remodeled inside of my house. I was stressed because my old cooktop used to be 30” electric downdraft jenn air. Looking for a replacement for downdraft was not easy. So thrilled and happy when my son saw this kitchen aid 36” downdraft electric cooktop, I knew I had to change my cooktop trom 30 to 36. I’m so happy with this new cooktop cuz it has 5 burners with a large, 12” burner. I do a lot of cooking. At first I got a little paranoid with the glass cooktop cuz it’s my first time having it. I kept thinking I’m going to scratch the glass. Now I have to make sure to use the right scrubber and the cleaner. My next door neighbor saw my cooktop, and she loves it. She went and replaced her old electric downdraft with the same one I got.

I bought this cooktop a few weeks ago. The delivery was great. On time as promised and the delivery men were very nice and helpful. The cooktop fit perfectly in the opening and was fairly simple too connect. Everything is functioning perfectly.

I love this Cooktop!

Impressive cooktop
Very hard to find a 36” downdraft cooktop. This KitchenAid model is sleek, functional and addresses every cooking need. I especially like the oversize double burner. You do need quite a bit of undercounter space for the downdraft motor unit.

I am very happy with my KitchenAid Cooktop. It heats up fast, and cooks evenly. I like having the variety of five different cooktop elements. The surface cleans up quickly and looks great on my countertop. The downdraft vent helps to get rid of unpleasant grease odors.

I love this cooktop!
I replaced my old, traditional, coil cooktop with this new 36" electric downdraft. There aren't many electric cooktops with a downdraft, which was concerning, but I love this model! I appreciate the different sized burners with specific heat settings. The down draft is very efficient and quiet. Clean up is is so easy!

Smooth Top Downdraft
Needed to replace our 36” downdraft and found the Kitchenaid 36” downdraft would match perfectly with our Kitchenaid appliances. This unit requires a 40 amp service with larger wires than our 30 amp older unit. I upgraded the wires and can take full advantage of the 5 burners when needed. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I am in love!
This was installed a month ago. I bought my house 10 years ago, and had an old jennaire unit. I agonized about this decision for a few years before finally deciding on this unit. I could not be happier with my choice! The burners are fast, and the temperature control on this is incredible. The fan power on the downdraft is powerful, clearing any smoke quickly that the family chef may make (me, and I’m a great smoke maker lol). I am so happy that I purchased this unit. It cleans up quickly with the right materials, and it looks fantastic in my kitchen. I. Am. In. Love!

Nice new features
Bought this downdraft first off because i don not care for the pop up exhaust. Finding a large unit was a challenge. My other kitchen appliances are all KitchenAid so I fell very confident with the make. So far really liking the over size 5th burner. I am cautious of any drips and spills because even water on the cook top is an issue of a staining effect. All in all you can't go wrong. I hope it last as long as it's processor which was 24 years! Sure wish it came with a sample cleaning kit with the safe scrapper. I'm searching to find on Amazon today!

Excellent Cooktop 9with downdraft fan
I bought this appliance one month ago, it was simple to assembly and easy to install, the best came later with its performance, food is quickly fixed with no issues due the vapors coming out , if something spills out of the pot it could be easily removed using conventional soap and soft sponge.

Love my new electric cooktop
This electric cooktop was the only one I could find with a downdraft. I really love it. It not only cooks great, but makes my kitchen look fantastic. It is so clean looking! Be sure to get the cleaner they recommend, though, as you cannot clean it with just water!
