Ingredients
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
Two fresh oranges, sliced
About 10 thin slices of fresh pineapple
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 cup (115 grams) frozen pineapple chunks
1 cup (130 grams) frozen mango chunks
1 fresh clementine orange, peeled
1 cup (20 grams) greens such as kale or spinach
1/4 cup (55 grams) plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons rolled oats
3 pitted dates
4 ounces cold water
Step by step
Place the water, dates, and oats in the pitcher of the KitchenAid® Torrent™ Blender, and allow to soak for 15-20 minutes.
Then add the Greek yogurt, greens, orange, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, and ginger. Place the lid on the pitcher and click the pitcher into the base. Turn the dial to the “Icy Drinks/Smoothies” setting, and press the start button to begin the preset blending cycle.
Once the blender has completed the cycle and stopped blending, pour the mixture into a shallow bowl and top with garnishes.
