Spiralized Potato Chip Favors
Ingredients
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons chives
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 russet potatoes
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 teaspoons dill
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon lemon powder
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 russet potatoes
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 tablespoons melted butter
6 sweet potatoes
Step by step
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
First, wash the potatoes. Use a Professional Series 7” Santoku Knife from the KitchenAid® 11pc Professional Series Cutlery Set to rim the ends of the potatoes to create a flat surface on each end for the KitchenAid® Spiralizer Attachment.
Use the Spiralizer Attachment connected to a KitchenAid® Stand Mixer to spiralize each potato.
Next, pull apart or slice each spiral into flat potato rounds. Using paper towels or a clean towel pat each round dry.
Place the potato rounds on a KitchenAid® Professional-Grade Nonstick Sheet Pan. Brush each side with melted butter. In a small bowl, mix together the remaining seasonings for the flavor you want to make: chili powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar and sea salt for the sweet and spicy chips; lemon powder, onion powder, dill and sea salt for the lemon dill chips; garlic powder, onion powder, chives and sea salt for the garlic chive chips.
Sprinkle each side of the potato chips with the seasoning.
Bake the chips for about 18 minutes or until golden brown. Before serving, sprinkle more seasoning onto the chips to taste.
Place chips into 5” by 11” clear bags. Print and cut my free favor clasps. Fold over the top of the clear bags, and then fold over a favor clasp on top. Staple to secure.
