Ingredients

2 cups (500 mL) whole strawberries

2 medium kiwi, peeled

2 medium Fuyu persimmons

2 medium Granny Smith, Fuji or Honey crisp apples

1 cup (250 ml) lemon juice

3 cups(750 ml) water

Step by step

  1. Combine water and juice in large bowl.

  2. Attach Spiralizer attachment to KitchenAid® Stand Mixer. Center one apple on fruit and vegetable skewer; attach to Spiralizer. Attach fine spiralizing blade and position at end of apple. Place bowl of lemon-water under blade to catch spiralized fruit. Turn stand mixer to speed 4 and process until blade reaches end of apple. Repeat with remaining apple and persimmons. Remove fruit from lemon-water, then arrange on tray of food dehydrator. Remove fine spiralizing blade.

  3. Attach spiral slice blade with small core. Process kiwi and strawberries in the same manner. Remove from lemon-water and arrange on a separate food dehydrator tray.

  4. Dehydrate kiwi and strawberries for 4 hours 30 minutes. Dehydrate all remaining fruit for 5 hours 30 minutes or until dry but still chewy.

  5. Serve piled up on small plates as a fun snack.
