3-in-1 Attachment

Insert the pasta attachment

Insert the attachment into the hub, making sure the shaft fits into the square socket. You may have to rotate it back and forth slightly. The pin fits into the notch when in the proper position.

Let's get making pasta

Before you start, tie back long hair and avoid loose clothing or jewelry—it helps keep you safe around moving parts. Make sure the top housing is in place before using the attachment.

Stand mixer

Prepare your dough

Prepare pasta dough according to your chosen recipe. Divide it up into smaller portions, around 100-150 g each. Knead each piece of dough into a rectangle roughly 1/2 inch thick and 3-4 inches wide. Here’s our favorite recipe for pasta dough.

Knead and smooth the dough

Set your stand mixer to speed 4. Start on roller setting 1 and feed in the flattened dough. For cleaner edges, fold the dough like a letter—bringing the sides to the center—and roll again. Repeat until it’s smooth, pliable and wide enough for the roller. Lightly dust with flour as you go to stop sticking.

Roll to your desired thickness

Continue feeding the dough through the rollers, increasing the setting one step at a time. Don’t fold the dough during this part—just keep rolling until you reach the thickness you need.

Cut into pasta

Once you’ve got your sheet, simply feed it through the pasta cutter. Match the right thickness to your chosen pasta shape.

How to remove, clean and care for your machine

A little care goes a long way. Keeping your pasta attachment clean and well looked after helps it stay in top shape, batch after batch. The pasta attachment is not dishwasher safe. Here’s how to safely remove and clean it properly:

Switch off and unplug

Turn your stand mixer OFF and unplug it before you start cleaning.

Remove the attachment

Take the pasta attachment off the mixer. Pop the hub cover back on and tighten the attachment knob.

Let it dry, then brush

Remove the pasta cover and let the attachment air dry for about an hour. Once any dough has dried, use the included cleaning brush to remove it. If needed, gently tap the attachment with your hand to help loosen any stubborn bits. Use the pick end of the brush for hard-to-reach areas.

Polish and store

Once clean, give the attachment a quick polish with a soft, dry cloth. Store it in a dry place at room temperature.
