Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don’t know where to start, very disappointed To start with the microwave simply sucks. I’ll try to make this simple but not sure if I can keep it short gue to the issues. Simple, you put a bag of popcorn in and it goes into a sensing mode. When it says it’s done you will find that there is at least a 1/4 cup of unpopped kernels. Using the recommended time per the manufacturer renders even more unpopped kernels. I put one Jimmie Dean sausage patty in for 45 seconds, which is way over the recommended time, and when I checked it I found it thawed and warm but not hot so I put it in for another 15 seconds and it was a little warmer but not hot. Recommended time is 30 seconds. In my last home I had a GE that if you put a bag of popcorn in on sense or time it always popped with just a few kernels left when done. The sausage was done in 30 seconds. The bagged popcorn is also slightly burnt in some cases in the KitchenAid. I have used a Presto brand microwave popcorn popper for years but I cannot seem to get this to work without burning the popcorn. This is a device that requires a heat disk put in the bottom then a 1/4 cup of popcorn put in. You set the time, never using the sensor setting, and pop away. Perfectly popped corn in about 2-1/2 minutes. This microwave it noisy when running and I have no idea as to why the fan needs to keep running when done. In my very humble opinion this unit is worse than a simple 600 watt unit. A little countertop unit would be better. This microwave just appears to never come up to temperature even though this is not how a microwave works. The GE unit boiled water in 2-1/2 minutes, this one takes 4 minutes. My ratings are strictly on the microwave feature and are about what they are designed to do and the fact that this KitchenAid model doesn’t even come close to the name KitchenAid. I would be ashamed to put my moniker on it. At my age I can say I grew up with microwaves when they were known as baked potatoe fixers. I have had my share but this one is NOT a true microwave as it fails in all capacities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KA I remodeled our kitchen after hurricane Harvey destroyed our home! We chose Kitchen Aid for all our appliances! Best decision we ever made!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice oven/microwave combo I purchased this along with all appliances for my kitchen remodel. I used to have a double wall oven and a microwave on the counter. I like this set up so much. There are a couple of odd features like the fan continuing in the microwave even after the cooking is done, and the timer volume is very low. But it does a great job on cooking, and I love the look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We like the appearance and the features. We bought this about a month ago because it fit our opening and had the features we needed. It also matches the refrigerator we picked out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! We have had this over/micro for about four weeks. I love the look and feel of the oven itself. It’s very quiet when it’s on (except for cool down for both oven and micro where the fan is a little loud). Have not been able to figure out the temp yet but I LOVE the steamer basket it came with for the micro. And love how it senses the steamer time. All in all great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisy Installed this unit about a year ago in our new house. Cooking wise it does a good job. Afterwords though I hate it. For it to cool down the fan comes on and the high whining tone begins. We thought something was wrong with it so even had a service tech come out and he said this was normal. It sounds like you are in your car driving down the highway with the windows cracked. Sure changes the ambience of a nice dinner to listen to the oven while trying to have a conversation above it.
