Model W11247090 KitchenAid Refrigerator Handle Kit in stainless steel allows you to create a custom look for your under-counter refrigerator door and contains (1) refrigerator door handle and all hardware required for installation. The sturdy bar handle shape, sleek chrome caps, and easy-to-clean satin cross-hatch texture combine high style with a secure grip. The handle also features 2 red medallions and is designed to be installed on select KitchenAid® wine cellars, including models KUBL204EPA, KUBR204EPA, KURL104EPA, KURR104EPA, KUWL204EPA, and KUWL204EPA; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice installation experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this accessory.

The downside is that the appliance is really noisy and, because the specified sizing is a little off (mentioned in other reviews), the installers elected to not use the supplied feet. This means that the unit sits directly on the floor and the (very, very) noisy refrigerator's humming reverberates throughout the entire house. Other reviews mention that it's a very quiet unit, so maybe it's an installation issue or possibly the cabinet exacerbates the noise...I'm open to any suggestions.

Not very flexible as the shelves are all fixed in place. If I had to do it all over again, I would like for a unit which has more flexibility in the design

Rated 2 out of 5 by Gauffant from Not for outdoors We bought this undercounter refrigerator to replace our older model kitchenaid stainless steel undercounter refrigerator we have in our outdoor summer kitchen / BBQ. All of the appliances including the replaced undercounter refrigerator and storage cabinets are kitchenaid stainless steel and great quality. Looks like kitchenaid went cheap on the stainless steel used on this model and they know it because they have excluded discoloration, rust, oxidation from coverage under their warranty. All of my interior and exterior major appliances are currently kitchenaid. I guess I will be looking for a different brand to replace each as they reach end of life if this is what we have to expect from newer model appliances.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BJ from Architect is correct. too tall I took off the feet and still too high for standard cabinet top. The problem is there is a large plate that makes the unit higher. I don't believe you can remove the U plate as it looks like like it holds the compressor in place and you would have to take the back off of the unit to do so. Unfortunately, I am stuck with this and is now in my garage!!! Also, very noisy. I noticed it and it took only one day for my wife to make a comment. Inside design is excellent.
