    Ingredients

    1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (plus more to taste)

    1/4 teaspoon sea salt (plus more to taste)

    1/2 cup grated parmesan (or 2 teaspoons sweet white, yellow, or chickpea miso paste)

    1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic (1 clove, plus more to taste)

    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    1/2 cup unsalted roasted shelled pistachios

    2 cups flat-leaf parsley leaves (2 large bunches, firmly packed)

    1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil

    Step by step

    1. Throw the ingredients into your KitchenAid® blender in the order listed. Secure the lid, remove the center lid cap, and insert the tamper. Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds using the tamper to guide the ingredients through the blades until well combined and to your desired consistency. (You may need to stop the machine and scrape down the sides of the container.)

    2. Serve with cooked pasta or spiralized noodles; as a dip with crackers, bread, or crudités; or slathered on sandwiches and wraps.
